The water looks more clear with RT, but no RT looks perfectly fine and realistic enough.

I can tell the difference but not worth the 30fps drop when I’m trying to push 165hz tbh

This is honestly a great comparison. The water effects are obviously better with Ray Tracing but at this point I don't thing it takes away from the immersive experience enough to be considered required.

If there is no performance loss then ray trace is dope. If it makes it goto 50FPS i turn it off immediately.

Use games like CP2077 to showcase it, not JEDI SURVIVOR. Which happens to be in unoptimised too.

It's rarely worth it today, depending on the game, but it's 100% the technology of the future once hardware catches up.

Ray tracing is the future of realtime lighting! It looks better, it’s far more realistic and it’s a LOT easier for game devs to implement than the traditional lighting.
