Backpedaling because you know your stances are dangerous but your followers will still follow you even when not delivering. Just like infrastructure. Getting rid of Obamacare. A wall across the border that Mexico pays for. Etc. Etc.

It was all a con job to show that Trump is a tough guy to get votes and he was gonna deport them all and put a tariff across the board. So as with everything Trump says when he's campaigning it was just all smoke and mirrors.
