Michael Jackson’s Bad World Tour deserves to be released and celebrated in theaters worldwide! Michael Jacksons Bad World Tour started in September 1987 and ended in January 1989. While fans have seen some concerts of the first leg in 1987, they have only seen short snippets of high-quality U-Matic tape or film footage from the second and third leg of the tour. Over three decades later, the world is still waiting to see a proper HD release of the Bad Tour 1988/89. A Tour that broke world-records. We, the Fans of Michael Jackson believe it's about time to have such a release happening. Not only for our enjoyment but also for the LEGACY of the king of pop. The Bad Tour showed Michael Jackson at his peak and the world needs to see this. People of the film-crew have revealed that several shows were shot on film. Those contain at least two shows of London (Wembley), Paris, Lausanne, Liverpool & Minneapolis. Los Angeles (27. Jan. 1989) is known to be available at least on u-matic tape in a very good condition, if not even on film as well. It was revealed that in 1988 members of the crew even completely cut and color-graded a full show (16 & 35mm film) from one of the London, Wembley shows. It's also known that not all the shows were recorded on multitrack-audio. The fans wouldn't mind having an HD release with a soundboard/front of house audio mix. In addition to a HD release, a standalone Live CD of another show could be released to showcase the magic of the bad tour in HD audio as well. Members of the film-crew back then also revealed that several shows were multitracked on a soundtruck. Mentioned examples are Wembley July 16 and 15, New York, Kansas, Los Angeles (1989). We, the Michael Jackson Fan Community kindly ask you to finally give us a proper HD release of Michael Jacksons Bad World Tour 1988/89. #ReleaseMJBadTourFilm

North & South on the Amiga – One of the most charming 16-bit takes on the Civil War! Infogrames brought the humor of the Belgian comic Les Tuniques Bleues to life in this 1989 Commodore Amiga classic. Pick the Union or Confederacy, conquer territory across the USA map, manage railroads for income, and dive into hilarious arcade-style battles. Pure strategy mixed with cartoon action! Here are 5 interesting facts about the Amiga version: 1. The game is directly based on the long-running Belgian comic series Les Tuniques Bleues by Raoul Cauvin and Willy Lambil. It keeps the light-hearted, satirical tone instead of a serious war sim, complete with cartoonish characters and animations. 2. Released in 1989 by Infogrames for Amiga and Atari ST. It was the original version, developed in-house with stunning colourful graphics, sampled sound effects, and a memorable soundtrack by Charles Callet that includes funny national anthem parodies depending on the language chosen. 3. Five languages supported right from the start: English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian. The menu has fun hidden touches, like clicking on the photographer's backside for a funny reaction. 4. Strategy meets arcade perfectly – move armies on the map to capture states, then switch to real-time mini-games when attacking forts (dodge cannon fire and plant dynamite) or trains (race along the tracks). Army battles let you command infantry, cavalry, and artillery with side-view chaos. 5. Excellent two-player support with hotseat or simultaneous play. The game is fast-paced, accessible, and sessions usually last 15-30 minutes, making it perfect for quick matches or long rivalries. A true Amiga classic that still holds up for its humour, presentation, and addictive blend of strategy and action. Who’s played it – North or South side?

Slum Village was founded by rappers Baatin, T3 and producer Jay Dee (aka J Dilla) in the Conant Gardens neighborhood of Detroit, MI where they attended Pershing High School together. Fresh out of high school, the group steadily became popular in Detroit's underground hip hop scene. However, by the mid-1990s J Dilla was already a well known hip-hop prospect, with a string of singles and remixes to his name, working on projects with Janet Jackson, Pharcyde, De La Soul, Busta Rhymes, and Q-Tip among others. In 1995 he was invited to become a member of a production team known as The Ummah, which produced the fourth and fifth A Tribe Called Quest studio albums, as well as hits for a number of R&B and hip hop musicians. From 1996 to 1997 the group recorded their first album Fantastic (Vol. 1), however their first official release would be 'Fantastic, Vol. 2' which dropped in 2000. For the 2002 release "Trinity (Past, Present and Future)" on Barak/Capitol Records, T3 brought in Elzhi to join the group as J Dilla left to focus on his solo career. The album was a moderate success and contained the single "Tainted", produced by Karriem Riggins and featuring Dwele. Also in 2002,'Dirty District, a compilation songs by Detroit rappers largely produced by T3 and Young RJ"Rice, was released. The group then became a duo consisting T3 and Elzhi, when Baatin became sick while touring in France shortly before the release their 2004 album, Detroit Deli (A Taste of Detroit) and departed to seek treatment. The album included the hit single, "Selfish", produced by Kanye West and featuring John Legend. The song samples a part of the intro to the hit song "Call Me" by Aretha Franklin. After parting ways with Capitol Records in 2005, they released Prequel to a Classic a mixtape mostly previously unreleased material, followed by Slum Village "Self-Titled" release in October the same year.
