Last night was one of if not most significant nights of my life. Getting to play the home town stadium was already a fever dream but having one of the many heros that were there last night present an award to me was not on my bingo card. Thank you Cody Canada Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame & Museum for choosing me for the rising star award. It is one of the greatest honors in my life. My heart is full of emotions for what has happened in the last 24 hours. I will always be proud to be an Oklahoman and a red dirt artist. Thank you all for believing in my music and me. I love y’all so much!

On one of the best nights of my life, I stepped on stage to such incredible energy as I launched into Rich Dad, Poor Dad. The crowd sang along with me and almost 30 seconds to the end of the song, there was a power trip and all equipments shut down. Only thing you could hear was me and the drums. I stepped off stage to allow my technical team to figure it out whilst resisting the urge to let nervousness creep in. They sorted it out, I was reannounced and I performed Rich Dad again to the same energy as before. To most in the crowd it must have felt rehearsed and intentional. And even those who realized it didn’t care, they were there to enjoy the music. For the second straight year, an album I heard in March blew me away, and ran away with this title. The Red Herring for 2024 ALBUM OF THE YEAR GOES TO… Boundaries’ “Death Is Little More” 💿Released: March 29 Top 3 tracks: 🎤Easily Erased 🎤Turning Hate Into Rage 🎤Darkness Shared I loved a LOT of records this year. I really did. But this record has finished as my album of the year by a wide margin. Boundaries is yet another band that I’ve seen grow over the years from a little Connecticut band, to now being on some MASSIVE tours. They are a band essentially built for me. Their breakthrough to me, was 2022’s “Burying Brightness.” That was their spring board that really helped them find their sound. And after they learned to walk, THIS album has them SPRINTING. This is one of the most aggressive records of the year, and it’s admirable but what I love most is the touches of melody they have now spread throughout the record. Songs like Easily Erased and Scars on a Soul are two that feel like they could have been standard boundaries song, but those small touches thrown in have made them into masterpieces. Blames Burden featuring Markus Vik from Invent Animate sees the band taking a somewhat new direction too, and really comes with a surprise left hook towards the end of this album, just when you thought you had it figured out. The classic Boundaries sound, combined with these new touches have made for an outstanding album worthy of being worn like a badge of honor by the members of this band.

Once approval is given, it is handed to our 3D modelling team for sculpting into high poly, then low poly, while receiving numerous reviews and adhering to our pipeline protocols. When the low poly version is finished, the 3D team then finishes with UV mapping and texture baking and runs their own QA process. Once the entire 3D sculpting process is approved, the models enter the skinning, rigging and weight painting process and are then passed to the animation team for further testing with various animations and another set of QA such as minimising clipping and identifying any other potential flaws in the model.
