This is misleading. The owners are including benefits and amateur bonuses in their cap. That’s like 30-50 million per team it sounds like. So almost every team will spend less on salary.

The revenue sharing on TV rights should be approved since the owners are the ones proposing it. The problem with the rest is any attempt to compare MLB with the other major sports. The MLBPA is the strongest union in professional sports often to the detriment of the sport itself.
