MolmoAct2 runs zero-shot on an SO-ARM101, no training required 🦾 Ai2 open Action Reasoning Model is now in LeRobot with the full lifecycle covered: fine-tuning (full or LoRA), evaluation, and real-robot deployment. It pairs a Molmo2-ER vision-language backbone with a flow-matching action expert to turn images, language, and proprioceptive state into action chunks. The best part: ready-made checkpoints ship with calibration correction baked in, so you can point it at your SO-100/101 and just watch it work. Inference fits in ~12GB at bf16, and LoRA fine-tuning runs on a single 24GB GPU. Big thanks to the Ai2 team for building this in the open.

MiniMax M2.5 > Claude Opus 4.6 I have been using it for a couple of days and have never hit the limit. I am currently on the Coding Plus plan which gives me 300 prompts per 5 hours. My new setup is OpenCode + MiniMax M2.5 What I have noticed: M2.5 – handles multi-step coding workflows and repo-level reasoning more reliably – better at chaining actions. think: generate test, fix bug, refactor, repeat – high TPS throughput M2.5 hits ~80%+ on SWE-Bench coding benchmarks on par with Opus and runs these tasks 37% faster than its predecessor while costing ~1/10th - 1/20th the price. Meet VLA-JEPA, the first world model policy in LeRobot 🌍 Most VLAs just learn observation → action. VLA-JEPA also learns action-relevant dynamics: during training, a JEPA world model has to predict upcoming frames in latent space from the model's own actions. Then, at inference, the world model disappears entirely, leaving a standard, fast VLA: Qwen backbone, action head, nothing extra. In our demo it was fine-tuned on just 13 examples and ran in real time on an NVIDIA DGX Spark. On a consumer RTX 3080, it hits 10Hz using under 6GB of VRAM. World-model supervision during training, zero extra cost at inference. That's the whole trick.

3D-LLM: Injecting the 3D World into Large Language Models paper page: Large language models (LLMs) and Vision-Language Models (VLMs) have been proven to excel at multiple tasks, such as commonsense reasoning. Powerful as these models can be, they are not grounded in the 3D physical world, which involves richer concepts such as spatial relationships, affordances, physics, layout, and so on. In this work, we propose to inject the 3D world into large language models and introduce a whole new family of 3D-LLMs. Specifically, 3D-LLMs can take 3D point clouds and their features as input and perform a diverse set of 3D-related tasks, including captioning, dense captioning, 3D question answering, task decomposition, 3D grounding, 3D-assisted dialog, navigation, and so on. Using three types of prompting mechanisms that we design, we are able to collect over 300k 3D-language data covering these tasks. To efficiently train 3D-LLMs, we first utilize a 3D feature extractor that obtains 3D features from rendered multi- view images. Then, we use 2D VLMs as our backbones to train our 3D-LLMs. By introducing a 3D localization mechanism, 3D-LLMs can better capture 3D spatial information. Experiments on ScanQA show that our model outperforms state-of-the-art baselines by a large margin (e.g., the BLEU-1 score surpasses state-of-the-art score by 9%). Furthermore, experiments on our held-in datasets for 3D captioning, task composition, and 3D-assisted dialogue show that our model outperforms 2D VLMs. Qualitative examples also show that our model could perform more tasks beyond the scope of existing LLMs and VLMs.

But they are doing something very clever: They load a single model in memory and use different adapters to specialize the model on the fly. Then load a large model 3. Then, we'll fine-tune the model on both datasets I'll use LoRA to fine-tune the model. We'll load the correct adapter to solve each task The large model I'm using needs 346 MB of memory, but I only need to load it once. Each adapter is only 2.7 MB.
