More changes are underway for federal student loans, with major implications for current and future graduate students. A federal judge has temporarily blocked parts of the Education Department’s new loan limits, including restrictions affecting some professional degree programs. William Brangham speaks to D Douglas-Gabriel for more.

He’s a British-born researcher who focuses on countering online hate and misinformation, but the Trump administration accuses him of trying to censor viewpoints that he does not agree with. Ahmed leads a group called the Center for Countering Digital Hate, and he is one of five European nationals recently barred entry to the U.S. by the State Department. Here's why that's a good thing.” They explain how predatory colleges have become and how by taking away the funding for these programs it’ll force schools to lower their prices and make college cheaper “When the government stops providing taxpayer-funded loans to these programs, it keeps students from making a bad investment, and it incentivizes colleges to either lower prices or reform these programs to make them better. This current surge may be slowing, but doctors warn there are still serious risks for vulnerable populations, including children and pregnant women.
