Autopilot isn’t meant for city driving, yet they test of bunch of scenarios that Autopilot wasn't built to do in the first place....

Today, CNBC released a new video with Consumer Reports comparing driver-assist systems. But there's a problem… in the video, they used Tesla's Autopilot, not Tesla's FSD (Supervised), and compared that to the top offerings in other automakers' cars. CNBC also claimed that Tesla lacked an effective driver monitoring camera, but Tesla does have one—so much so that some Tesla owners complain about its sensitivity. Camera based driver attention monitoring is less strict for Autopilot than it is for FSD (Supervised). Not once in the video did they test the latest version of Tesla's FSD. Consumer Reports says Ford and GM have the best driver assist systems. The Mercedes system they praise in the video is extremely limited and can only work on highways. $TSLA 🇰🇷 BREAKING : I just experienced FSD (Supervised) for the first time in Korea. The vehicle is Model X and the FSD version is *V14.1.4. We have yet to see any official cases of V14 being applied outside of the United States and Canada. I've just completed my first FSD run for about an hour. (I've experienced about 10,000km of FSD in the U.S.) Except for the parking lot, there was never a case where I intervened during the FSD drive. The first impression of the FSD that works in Korea is that it is very amazing and a great achievement of the Tesla AI team. Although there was one case where I went off the road without following the navigation, the FSD thought to itself and drove on the right path. The overall experience in Korea was very good, such as turning left, turning right, U turn, joining lanes, and changing lanes. It's kind of like... an American driver driving in Korea on an international driver's license. If more data is generated in the future and the number of users increases, higher achievement of FSD in Korea is very much expected. I can't wait for more people to experience FSD in Korea! (Tesla Korea is a HW4 vehicle that purchased FSD and will update the FSD (Supervised) in the future for vehicles suitable for VIN number 5or7.

The Netherlands might be the first country in Europe to get Supervised FSD & in anticipation of that, Michael van Zandvoort from Tesla Magazine Michel van Zandvoort came to the USA to test both FSD 13.2.9 & Tesla Robotaxi along with getting a tour Giga Texas! Tesla asked me to give him a few robotaxi rides just before we went to the factory & here is what Michael had to say about his first hand experiences & his expectations for FSD approval in the Netherlands!

First time FSD (Supervised) for my mom, raw and uncut I just let my 70 yr old mom take a full drive on FSD From home to the Supercharger, and watched something shift in real time At first a little hesitant but she got used to it super quick, I did not expect this at all!! 🤯 By the end of the drive, she wasn’t just relaxed, she was amazed. Laughing. Pointing things out. Talking about how this could change driving for people her age. This is the moment people underestimate It’s not about tech specs or edge cases It’s about what happens when someone who didn’t grow up with this technology experiences it for the first time and it just works. Welcome to the future mom!!
