We are bringing home an outstanding son of the Ukrainian people – an exemplary warrior and a prominent Ukrainian statesman, Colonel Yevhen Konovalets. Throughout his conscious life, he fought for Ukraine to be restored and to gain real independent strength. Unfortunately, at that time, Ukraine was unable to establish itself. There was not enough unity, not enough wisdom among the political leaders of the time, not enough ability to build genuine ties with the world. But Ukraine’s time has come. Independence was restored, and we defended Ukraine’s right to be itself. No one will ever remove the blue-and-yellow flags from Kyiv again, and it is only Ukraine that will choose its national path. Now, remembering Ukraine’s struggle for liberation, we all know with absolute certainty what mistakes must not be made. We know what Ukraine needs and where we must focus our attention and efforts. We know what national priorities our state must have. Glory to Ukraine!

She is 68 years old! A fully disabled U.S. Army veteran with advanced Parkinson’s disease was arrested and jailed twice for calling 911 when she could not get out of bed, reach her medication, or get water. Her name is Diane Gerrish. She is 68 years old and lives alone in Midway, Georgia. Between June 2025 and March 2026 she called 911 approximately 140 times for basic needs she could no longer manage because of her disease. The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office contacted Adult Protective Services multiple times. APS visited once. On that single visit she declined help while she was mobile. After that, the system’s solution was to arrest her for misuse of 911. She was taken from her bed, placed in a wheelchair, and hauled to jail. When she missed court, they jailed her again. She pleaded guilty and was put on probation with a ban on non-emergency 911 calls. This is not accountability or leadership. This is the complete opposite. A fully disabled veteran who clearly could not care for herself ended up in handcuffs instead of receiving the in-home care or nursing placement she qualified for. Common sense never kicked in. The people standing in her house defaulted to the criminal process instead of forcing the care system to do its job. The VA had a clinic minutes away and a full medical center a short drive from her. The Sheriff’s Office says they reached out. The VA has given no public explanation. Imagine that! This is the same pattern we keep seeing: veterans who need long-term care the most are failed by the very systems that exist to protect them. Veterans FIRST. Always Move Forward. Semper Fi. The "G.L.O.V.E." is manufactured by Compliant Technologies LLC, based in Kentucky. "70% of officers killed with firearms are shot within 10 feet. The G.L.O.V.E. gives officers a non-lethal option at exactly that distance, bringing resisting subjects into compliance in seconds, without lasting harm to anyone involved," their website says.
