There's more than 1 photon being sent at a time, A laser doesnt shoot out a single photon. The original experiment was done with single electrons, not a multi photon laser and cardboard with a few pinholes in it

The pointer is NOT sending out ONE photon ffs... It's probbaly about 3 × 10^15 photons per second spread over the wavelength of 650nm. Kind of like shooting a garden hose through slits and then saying "Look, the same drop of water is in two places!"
