the spreadsheet analogy works but misses timeline compression. Excel took 10 years to change accounting. AudioWave went from 5-person sprints to 2 people + agents in under a year. the pace is different this time.

“I am just as surprised as you are by the words coming out of my mouth!” Exactly

I think most people are fully aware of the impact that AI is going to have at this point. Perhaps there are some Luddite influencers in the AI community still skeptical, but I think the average person has already become apprised of the danger to knowledge work.

saved to watch!

This is worrying many professionals. SOC analysts fear AI platforms will replace their L1/L2 roles, and honestly it might happen. But someone still needs to monitor those investigations, review what the AI flags, and decide what to do. The role evolves, it does not disappear.

80% of corporate and gov work is just reshuffling info. LLMs can do that already, plus process Big Data (previous hype). This kind of work was irrelevant decades ago. But the office people can vote - nobody will dare replace them. IT revolution of 2000's even grew them.

Something ironic about an AI influencer telling me the scrabble engines will replace me.

"humans are a low bar, so low it's on the floor, it's at the core of the Earth" love the humanbashing energy. Let's raise the bar. Let's compete the Human Corp out of existence

I agree with your most of your points. I just finished the video. But this video is waaaaay too long, the number of people that will have the patience to watch it until the end is very small.
