That is not a hack, that's wasting time and dishwashing liquid.

I rinse my raw meat containers too, cuz they start to stink in the bin, especially salmon wrappings

Just dispose it the day/night before trash comes in. If you rinse it on the sink, now all the bacteria is splashing in your kitchen, thanks!

My mom told me about this hack where you just take your fucking trash out…

Funny my mother taught me a better hack. It's called plastic shopping bags. Stick the stuff that might cause orders, in a plastic shopping bag or double bag even. Then take that bag and put it your outside garbage bin or dumpster that very night. Easy-peasie.

Slip your meat into a produce bag at the grocery store, then put the bloody packaging back into the produce bag and tie a knot before you throw it in the garbage.

Actually, that white piece should go into recyclable bin the other two I will rinse and put in a separate plastic bag tied it up and toss in the regular trash, doing too damn much!

They should be allowed to soak overnight in a mild soap solution and scrubbed the next morning, after which they are to be placed in the freezer until pick up day, same as one does with soiled 'Depends' diapers and Maxi-Pads.

Do you do this to your period pads too to save money? 🤮

Lucy Celler's profile picture

This can be quite unsanitary. Raw meat juices are trapped in those pads can be full of bacteria and when „washed „ it’s spread all over the kitchen.
