The difficulty of finding 3 ingredient sourdough bread at a grocery store is through the roof. That’s why farmers markets are so good

Also, buy flour from Europe. A good French organic heirloom bread flour is light years better than glyphosate gmo flour in the states.

I mill organic spelt berries into flour, add sea salt, dry active yeast & water, take it through a few rises & it makes the best bread. Spelt is an unmodified ancient grain with a weak gluten structure that is easily digested. Delicious.

There's nothing wrong with commercial dried yeast. Is it better than fresh or dried sourdough starter? No. But if you're looking to make bread at home with just flour, salt, yeast, and water there is nothing wrong with it

It's the one item my family loves however it takes too long to make. I'll cook anything organic, but just don't have time for sourbread. Shameful too, I hear Russian Rye Sourdough is delicious.

Always sourdough… unless it’s those Battons in traditional French bakeries that go hard after 24 hours 💪

I've checked my local trader Joe - All their bread have enriched flour and other folic acid (even their organic baguette made in canada)listed in the ingredients .... Crazy!

Keep in mind, the purest bread in the world is still made of starch. Starch is a chain of glucose molecules. So even the most perfect sourdough bread is puffy sugar. If you're insulin resistant (and many are and don't know it) bread is a bad idea. Sadly.

Paul, what about the probiotic benefits of sourdough. I’ve read claims it’s of equivalent benefit as breast milk

Bread, rice, potatoes, pasta, sugar, processed foods and oils are all gone. And I have more nonstop energy than when I was half my age.
