I haven’t seen him smile all season in Cincy. He’s had a tough go - coming back to AZ would be a breath of fresh air for him and a return to a place where he’s had great success. Both of those could be mental boosts that motivate him and improve his game

Chase goes way back with Kahne between him taking over for his dad at Evernham to being teammates in Cup later on.
