Most natural rubber comes from Latin American-derived trees transplanted to Southeast Asia (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia), as well as India, Sri Lanka and Africa. In these areas, you can find other rubber-producing trees including: Ficus elastica: found in Java and Malaysia.
