Isn't IGF-1 also associated with shorter lifespans? Almost all centenarians are short. Their lack of IGF-1 seems to slow the aging process. You may not want to mess too much with Mother Nature.

Because the NCAA bans “peptide hormones, growth factors, related substances and mimetics” — and their banned-substances materials explicitly flag IGF-1 (colostrum; deer antler velvet) as part of that category, since colostrum can contain detectable IGF-1.

Thanks for the great information. Many of us can’t afford to eat meat that is corn/soy free etc. I just priced a whole chicken at $11 per lb. I can’t afford ground beef at $14 per lb because it is soy/corn free. Sorry.
