I assume they do but when I tried it I installed on my headless mini and when those speakers went off (for the first time ever) I was not expecting it ahah

If you care about battery drainage, then make sure to disable the visualizer (CTRL + V --> none), otherwise it will use more CPU% than the Spotify launcher.
