🚨 This vid was Removed from YouTube. VITAMIN D: Do you know your level?! If not, get tested! Get it ABOVE 55 ng/mL. Now's the time of year that low vit D can really bite us in the *ss. Yet insurance won't cover vit D tests. 🫠 🚨 Did you know it's possible to be taking a large amount of Vitamin D, & still be deficient?! (due to extreme individual variance in Vitamin D processing). Nearly Half the USA is Clinically Vitamin D deficient. Many more are INSUFFICIENT. Why does D matter? Our immune systems literally can't work properly w/o adequate vitamin D! Inflammation can get out of control as well, w/o enough vitamin D. Ryan Cole, MD: "Your best [Vitamin D] level to be at is 55 [ng/mL], that's when all the receptors in your body are saturated...even slightly above that, because when when you get sick w/anything, you actually deplete the amount of vitamin D your body has. So if you go into an illness with low vitamin D, you can't turn off those [inflammatory] pathways." GET TESTED, stat!

India has plenty of sunshine, despite this fact, vitamin D deficiency is common. There are three main reasons for this: 1. Dark skin: Melanin pigment, responsible for dark skin colour, could reduce vitamin D synthesis, 2. 40% of skin surface area should be exposed for adequate vitamin D synthesis by skin, while in sunlight. Clothing could interfere with this. 3. Use of sunscreen could also interfere with vitamin D synthesis in skin. Avoid taking vitamin D supplements on own, as it is a fat soluble vitamin. Excess vitamin D intake could lead to adverse effects. Consult a physician for further advice.

🧵THREAD: Vitamin D is arguably the most essential vitamin for your health. However, many aren't aware that pairing it with Magnesium, Zinc, and Vitamin K2 is extremely important. In this thread, I will explain why.

Mitochondria can make their own light. Biophotons , which are created during cold thermogenesis, can convert cholesterol precursors into pre Vitamin D, which is eventually converted to Vitamin D. This is especially helpful during the winter, when many are Vitamin D insufficient.
