they keep saying that no one hated Katara because they moved on and decided to hate on Korra and once u show them that fans used to hate on Katara they stay dead silent

Some of you are new to the fandom but it was so annoying that so many people just thought of her as annoying because god forbid a girl is sympathetic and not fully over her mother death at 14

I was around during the 2000s internet like DeviantArt when ATLA first came. There was no hate I recall Katara having. Now, Rose from ADJL received HATE until the end of the first season. Sam Manson from DP and Misty from Pokémon also received hate during that time.

I don’t recall her being hated. Everyone I knew loved Katara.

Yeah, the difference is though that katara can be annoying sometimes, but she is far better written character than korra could ever dream to be. It is not even a contest.

I find funny that I've never seen people hating Katara before 2020 but people who, I suspect, weren't here before 2020 say that's how it always has been. And it's always people who defend Korra... Hm, I think I see a pattern.

She is crazy underated, i was watching book Earth and she no cap defeated Azula by hers3lf in the final standoff, non crazy Azula, she was about to break her arm and leg when Zuko showed up and saved Azula

Most hated is pretty extreme, a lot of fans found katara annoying and bossy but she was a well liked character, I'd say compared to Aang, Toph Zuko she was the least favorite. The hate for Korra is just about the same as it was then 10 years ago when her show dropped.

Never hated Katara, always hated (and still do hate) Korra. No not because she's a woman but because ATLA should've ended with ATLA. There are some peak characters in TLOK and funny jokes, but none come from the MAIN CHARACTER

those who hated her were just larping i dont know a single guy who watched the show and hated her, korra however i feel like people hate her more after watching the show, i thought she was a bad avatar, did not hate her for it

Why did people hate Korra? Only time i disliked her was when she got jelouse of Aang but its still a kids show that needs conflict and understandable for her age and her mother complex
