Watch Dogs: Legion to me felt like going backwards. This is what killed the whole Watch Dogs franchise, even though Ubisoft implemented Ray Tracing with this game, everytime I play it I feel like it lacks any form of soul with no clear art direction. Watch Dogs 2 on the other hand which came out in 2016 feels much more alive and doesn't look like it has aged much at all. Could Ubisoft just improve on this instead of evolving backwards? They cooked with Watch Dogs 2 and then forgot their recipe with Watch Dogs: Legion, after that they decided to give up on working on this series that always had a huge potential.

Man Watch Dogs 2 didn’t get nowhere near the attention that it deserved. This Game has an amazing art direction, has some nice little details, parkour and is so beautiful graphically that this could very well be passed as a current gen Game. I don’t exactly know how Ubisoft managed to go from this to the garbage called Watch Dogs Legion and butcher the series. Nonetheless, playing Watch Dogs 2 makes me believe that Ubisoft has that dog in them which is capable of making an amazing open world Game if they only focus on delivering a complete experience and improve on their storywriting.

Watch Dogs 2 suffered indirectly from Ubisoft first mistake of making false advertising for Watch Dogs 1. Watch Dogs 2 is the one Game where actual gameplay footage ACTUALLY looked identical to the E3 Footage that was shown from Ubisoft. But because of their previous mistake with Watch Dogs 1, everyone assumed that this Game would be a downgrade, as a result not many people cared or were hyped about it. Watch Dogs 2 remains one of the few gems that is under-appreciated and underrated. P.S This Game is from 2016 and the Graphics look incredible

Watch Dogs E3 Demo 2012 Ubisoft fooled the whole world by showing off Gameplay footage that even if they were asked today with all the resources they have to create a Game that would have this kind of physics and NPC interaction mechanics, they wouldn't be capable of making. Watch Dogs isn't a bad game at all, I personally enjoyed it when I played it but holy shit did Ubisoft set the expectations of this game way too high

I don't see a reason why Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced wouldn't include blood. This was likely turned off in the settings, it wouldn't make sense for Ubisoft to have this feature turned off especially right after the most brutal AC game they've ever made that was Shadows

In Far Cry 2, shooting an enemy in the leg causes him to retreat and crawl back to a safer spot. In another instance, you can see that another NPC quickly comes to aid his friend that has just been shot. This was in 2008 and in-game character AI was seemingly a hundred times smarter and better than the games that we see from Ubisoft today. In fact, most recent Ubisoft games, shooting an NPC in the leg doesn't even do anything that is close to this, no one comes to aid or anything like that... Visuals have been progressing so much lately and you'd think the same would go for in-game features like NPCs not being braindead, but for some reason NPC AI has evolved backwards on a large number of video-games, not just Ubisoft.
