Celeste will receive a stacking buff that increases her spirit damage anytime this hits an enemy hero. 4️⃣ Shining Wonder - Launch a deadly orb of light that deals spirit damage and applies slow and reduces Dash Distance on impact. The orb then bounces to the nearest enemy within range. If no target is found, the orb will linger for a short duration while continuing to look for targets. It's not every day that Coney Island's biggest star, The Dazzling Celeste, performs on the streets of Manhattan. On a successful deflection, briefly become invulnerable, before performing a dash forward that stuns an enemy and reduces their Bullet Resist. 3️⃣ Flawless Advance - Perform a series of lunges in any direction, delivering piercing stabs ahead of you. Hold your ability key to time your attacks, dealing more damage the longer it's held. Releasing your attack during the perfect window deals maximum damage. 4️⃣ Itani Lo Sahn - Charge up and perform a long range slash. Struck enemies are cursed and stuck in slow motion. When this effect expires, they suffer devastating damage, dealing bonus damage against half-health enemies. While in slow motion, Apollo is invulnerable and enemies take reduced damage. After weeks of waiting, Apollo finally graces us with his presence. With Flawless Advance the fencer begins his approach, timing his strikes perfectly to inflict more damage. Counter-attacks aren't a concern for Apollo, as a flourish of his blade deflects the damage and triggers a quick Riposte, and Disengaging Sigil allows him to jump out of the fray with ease. [ New Gamemode - Enchanted Forest ] The new entertainment gamemode "Enchanted Forest" will launch on the test server today and on the official server on July 30th. The gamemode introduction is as follows: 16 players, paired in teams of two as survivors, compete in a forest to determine the ultimate winner! In the Prologue Phase, eliminated players can revive near their teammate, with longer revive times as eliminations increase. In the Finale Phase, elimination is permanent. Doom: The Dark Ages | New Hands-On Impressions and Gameplay Full Video ▶️ ▪️"Doom 2016 was focused on run and gun, Doom Eternal evolved into jump and shoot, the core combat principle of Doom: The Dark Age is to stand and fight" ▪️The story is very prominent this time, with 'lavishly realized' cutscenes and twisted looking characters ▪️Gothic castles loom over battlefields, enemies use a mix of medieval weapons and sci-fi guns, characters are donned in plated armor, etc ▪️Previewers still found themselves moving and strafing, but the new shield allows you to hold your ground, block or parry attacks and deflect projectiles ▪️You can't deflect every attack (red means you can't, green means you can) ▪️The shield bash attack lets you speed across the battlefield and deliver a powerful crushing blow ▪️You can rev up the shield like a chainsaw and throw it, where it can bounce between lesser enemies such as Imps like a pinball, or lodged straight into stronger enemies to stun them ▪️The shield is also useful against other enemies with shields, where you can hit them with super shotgun rounds to the point their shields are molten, then throw your shield to ignite the entire group ▪️Shield is the center of combat, guns have upgrades but no more alternate fire modes so your choice of guns is "one of build synergy" (examples: rapid-fire bullets can ricochet off an enemy you lodged your shield into or bullet superheat enemies so they explode when you throw your shield at them, etc) ▪️"Seriously satisfying" using the giant Atlan assault mechs to take on Titan demons ▪️Atlan Mech Combat: Use the right trigger to unleash combos, starts to fill up a special meter, at halfway you can deliver a powerful stomp that sends a shockwave that splits open the ground where lava spills out and hurts the enemy. Filling it completely allows you to deal a finishing move ▪️You also use giant airplane hanger sized machine guns with your giant mechs.
