The car tried speeding off, resulting in the officer pulling his weapon and striking the car in the exhaust pipe. The car stumbled to the ground where the officer then made an arrest. Waymo is in the hospital recovering now.

Scheffler was driving into the Valhalla parking lot when a police officer tried stopping him. After he was arrested in Dallas on May 30 for allegedly driving without a valid license, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm, a suspect in Texas decided to take the police wheel into his own hands. The incident happened after the suspect secretly removed his left hand from his handcuffs. When officers began driving to jail, the suspect attempted to open the squad car's rear door, prompting the officers to get out of the car, and eventually climbed into the driver’s seat and took off. One of the officers managed to jump into the backseat of the vehicle. That officer then attempted to stop the suspect by tasing him and striking him on the side of the head with his firearm. The suspect opened the driver’s side door and jumped out after driving what police said was a distance of about 1,000 feet. At that point, the police officer was able to regain control of the patrol car, and the suspect was given medical assistance before being taken back into custody, where he faces numerous charges.

American is in a self driving Waymo When he got in he realized the estimated time to his destination is way longer than it should be The Waymo is taking him in opposite directions, is circling random parking lots and won’t listen to him He’s calling support form inside the Waymo and the only option they have is to have him get out and book an Uber and they’ll refund him But now he’s in the middle of nowhere on a highway…. It was only supposed to take 7 minutes to get home but the trip is now 40+ minutes in the Waymo…. And now they want him to just get out and book an Uber At the end of the video he shows the Waymo vehicle screen, there is another 28 minutes until her gets to his destination He says he won’t be taking another driverless vehicle. I agree, I wouldn’t get into a Waymo either Rumor has it he’s still in the Waymo…..

Deadly shootout in Northern California after officers apparently failed to properly search a suspect before placing him in the front seat of his cruiser. Mt. Shasta Police Department and Weed Police Department released body cam footage showing the incident that happened on March 21, 2026, during a traffic stop on Interstate 5 near the north Weed off-ramp. An officer pulled over a car traveling northbound at the north Weed off-ramp for multiple violations, including excessive window tint and an unsafe lane change. The officer called for help with a K-9 drug sniff, and a Mt. Shasta police officer responded to assist. During the search, the Weed officer found a large amount of suspected methamphetamine hidden in a stereo speaker box. As the officer approached the man, who was sitting in front of the patrol car, the man pulled out a gun from his waist and pointed it at the officer. The officer then shot the man. Medical help was provided at the scene, and the man was taken to Dignity Mt. Shasta for treatment, where he later died from his injuries. One officer suffered minor injuries from a fall during the incident

The dashcam footage of Officer Justin Hare’s final moments is a chilling reminder of how quickly trying to help a stranded motorists can quickly turn into a nightmare. Officer Hare pulled over on I-40 to help a stranded motorist with a flat tire. In an act of pure kindness, he offered the man a ride into town. Instead of gratitude, the suspect—Jaremy Smith—pulled a weapon and ambushed the officer through the passenger window. What makes this even more disturbing is the backstory: Smith was already a fugitive from South Carolina, driving a vehicle stolen from a murdered paramedic. Smith proceeded to shove the injured Hare over to the passenger seat and took off with the police cruiser. Shortly down the road he dumped wounded officer Hare on the side of the road and fled. After a massive manhunt and a shootout with deputies in Albuquerque, Smith was finally captured. Just recently went to trial, he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. A tragic loss for the New Mexico State Police and the family Officer Hare left behind. Justice has been served, but the cost was far too high.
