Your phone can build voxel world now! 👾 This is an open-source tool that converts phone video into 3D point clouds. You can run Depth Anything 3 locally. Basically just local GPU inference. The interesting part is how it handles messy input. Video windows overlap, scale gets converted to real meters, drift gets corrected after inference. The system stitches everything together even when footage is noisy. Objects far away might fail strict confidence filters but still show up as recognizable buildings. That's huge for small robots because perception becomes cheap and stays local. Obviously it wouldn't be a phone for robots, but it shows the potential of edge/local perception processing. A robot can understand its environment without offloading to the cloud. Real-world video has artifacts and occlusions. The system doesn't need perfect input to reconstruct scene structure. It works with what's there. For robotics, this means small platforms can build 3D maps autonomously using hardware they already have. On June 23 at approximately 4:55 p.m., a Redmond officer stopped a driver near NE 76th Street and 148th Avenue NE after observing them using a handheld phone while stopped at a red light. When the light turned green, the driver continued looking at their phone instead of the road, prompting the traffic stop for distracted driving. Due to an increase in collisions, Redmond Police officers are conducting emphasis patrols focused on speeding and distracted driving in the area as part of the King County Target Zero Coalition 100 Safe Days of Summer campaign. We're proud to partner in this regional effort through Labor Day to help keep everyone safe during one of the busiest travel seasons of the year. Driving a vehicle with Full Self-Driving (Supervised)? You're still the driver. These systems require your full attention, and Washington law prohibits using a handheld phone while the vehicle is in motion or under your supervision. I never imagined connecting a wallet to ROZO would be hard for anyone… until someone reached out to me saying they were completely stuck and frustrated. So if you're dealing with that right now — don't worry, it's usually a quick fix with the right setup. ...here's what works for most people who hit this wall. 🔻 🔹️ The problem first Some browsers or wallets just don't cooperate with Rozo's connection flow. You get errors, nothing loads, or it keeps failing for no clear reason. The person who messaged me was running into exactly that. The good news? Switching a couple things makes it feel effortless. 🔹️ LOBSTR wallet + browser combo I recommend using LOBSTR wallet — it's built specifically for the Stellar network, so it stays stable and links up with Rozo much better than other options. Also: use Chrome as your browser. If it still doesn't work in Chrome, switch to Brave — that will definitely do the trick for almost everyone. 🔹️ How it actually works ⤞ Use Chrome (or Brave if needed) ⤞ Go to: ⤞ Use LOBSTR wallet ⤞ When you're on the site, use your Passkey (like FaceID or your fingerprint) to get in ⤞ Once you're done checking your earnings or moving funds, log out That's it. “i’ve been told that you've tried spending less time on your phone recently, which i believe is a very hard thing to do. what made you do it? and did it actually work?” 🆑: yeah, i am achieving that. then there's a balance to find, because it's also true that as soon as you are... you kind of feel a little bit disconnected on what's going around because today everybody is with a phone, and so there's a balance to find. i did two or three months, i think, without ever touching my phone apart from whatsapp when i was receiving messages and calls, and that was maybe a little bit extreme. so now maybe i'm trying to find a balance between the two because it's good to be up to date with what's going on around the world and to stay in touch with friends and funny moments. there's also lots of funny moments on social media and it part also of social interaction with friends and family. so there's a balance to find, but it is also true that it's a place where sometimes it can be a little bit toxic when you are in a position where people can kind of judge and say anything very, very easily. and they have the right to do so, but as a human being, you can also be affected by looking at those things. so it's a balance to find. i don't know if i found the perfect one, but for now it works for me, which is the most important.

Here are some tips for those who want to practice face acting: ➡️U motion: Move your head in a "U" Shape so it's never stuck in the same place. This will help your movements look more interesting. ➡️Key points: When practicing with your model, learn to get to a "Key point." This is when you can automatically get to an expression without using toggles. I use surprised and angry expressions a lot, so I know exactly how to move my face to achieve that look, mainly for clips or comedic effect. I practiced enough so I know what it will look like on the model. ➡️Head tilts: If you struggle with face acting, a simple head tilt will go a long way. Overall, the movement and face acting of your model does matter. It can help it look more interesting, but also, it's okay if you can't face acting all the time. Using just key animations when you're gaming will work perfectly. Example: You died in a game, and you go to the key point of surprise. You know, making this face will make your model look shocked, so you will do a dramatic eye open and mouth agape to achieve this, to reflect onto your model. Lastly. The way your model moves is usually 30% rigging artist,20% tracking (webcam/iPhone), and 50% you. Your rigging artist can give you the tools, but only you can make your models' results reflect your emotions. As always, DO YOUR PARAMETERS AND SETTINGS IN VTUBE STUDIO. OpenClaw is the best AI agent I've ever used. I run it every single day. But if you asked me to run it on my laptop full-time, I'd say you're making a mistake. OpenClaw is brilliant for accessing your files, reading your apps, and running local AI tasks. But running it on your own machine creates real problems nobody talks about: • Who's keeping it secure when it's exposed to the internet? • What happens when your laptop sleeps or shuts down? • Where are the access controls? • Who's blocking bad bots from hitting your instance? • What if you don't want to spend $800 on a Mac Mini just to run it? That's the main issue with local AI agents: your laptop was never meant to be a server. As far as I know, DigitalOcean is the only platform making OpenClaw cloud deployment this simple. And the security setup is actually impressive: • secret token authentication • bad bot blocking • limited user permissions • Docker containerization All of this configured automatically when you spin up a Droplet. I really don't see any other way forward for people who want OpenClaw running 24/7 without the hardware headaches. By the way, DigitalOcean runs everything in full isolation.
