Statement from Edward Park, President of Commissaire Panel (UCI) for Bajaj Pune Grand Tour. There was a crash in the middle of the peloton. This is quite common in road cycling races with large peloton and changing race dynamics, high-stake, high-speed environment. As a protocol, the race was neutralized for 23 minutes. Riders involved in the incident were immediately attended to with first aid by the medical staff in the convoy, and were allowed to change the bikes. No serious injuries and no one required hospitalization. The situation was handled very professionally by the race officials. The fact that maximum number of riders were able to get back on road and complete the race speaks volumes of the speed at which the situation was managed.

Following up on the feedback I gathered a few weeks ago, here's a sneak peek at the new climbing in Hytale! It will be available in next week's pre-release update. Changelog: - Made climbing now solely input-based. - Added rotation around ropes! - No longer constrained to the climbing block (can dismount from the side). - Added pressing "Crouch" to drop vertically without horizontal velocity. - Faster sprint climbing up and down. I got a couple more things I want to do for climbing, like an easier way to catch a ladder when being on top of it, that'll be coming a bit later. I wanted folks to already have a better climbing experience with those features.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: The neutral-grip lat pulldown is by far my favorite variation. I'm able to connect best with it - try to keep shoulders pinned down (think: keep shoulders away from ears) - intentionally reach up on the eccentric (but be sure to keep load on lats) - drive elbows into hips, DONT think: "I need to pull this bar down" - I like to pretend my entire lat is a 3 inch piece of string that goes from the top of my lat to the very top of my arm, and just try to contract that small area (see picture)

Pidcock waited for Tadej in the seconds before he was caught, but did not “wait” for more than 3 kilometers after the crash. Much of the media coverage is so matter of a fact about this comeback of Tadej. Sure here are lots of images of his wounds and there is a lot written on him overcoming the crash. But the effort Tadej did after the crash is quite spectacular to say the least. It is far from what has been said or written which in summary is “Tadej crashed, Pidcock waited, they worked together, Tadej dropped him and won.” Which has led to the “why did Pidcock wait?” discussion. I found this video below that shows the significance of the gap Tadej had to close before his bike change. Then I went back in and looked at the video as I wanted to get more detail. When I watched it live it sure didn’t seem like he waited, but he said he did after and the media said he did so… From what I found, Tadej’s crash cost him about 30 seconds from when he stopped sliding to when he got going again. With Pidcock blasting the turn and not hesitating I think this cost Tadej about 40 seconds. Then the bike change cost him another 10, so all in all he had to make up 50 seconds in his chase. Now let’s look at Pidcock. At the time of the crash he had 1:24 on the chasers. From the time Tadej crashed to when he was caught, Pidcock increased his gap to the chasing group (behind Tadej and Swift) to 1:30 in 3 kilometers. Now that doesn’t sound like much, but he went from holding this gap with Tadej sharing the pace, to now solo and gaining ground. When reviewing the footage I also noticed they went over a climb in dirt sector 11. Both were visibly riding hard despite appearing to go extremely hard, Tadej only closes 11 seconds. So clearly Pidcock was not “waiting” here either. The “waiting” finally occurs as Tadej gets him in sight and the gap is 10 seconds now. Now why is this worth looking at? Well in my opinion the effort Tadej had to close the gap was a race winning effort. Something like 470w for 6 mins AND THEN had to redo the effort again to win the race in addition to 44 more kilometers while bruised and battered. Did Pidcock do the right thing keeping the pressure on after the crash? Absolutely as he didn’t know if Tadej was injured or out and he was in the lead. Was it tactically a good call too if Tadej was ok? Yes, it forced Tadej to use precious glycogen resources to catch back. Overall I just saw this video and wanted to dive more into the chase. There definitely was a lot there and sheds light on how strong Tadej is riding right now.

There was a sound coming from under a pile of rubble in La Guaira, Venezuela, and it wasn't screaming. It was the sound of a married couple bickering as the husband worked with his hands and a small hammer to free his wife from below what used to be their home before the double earthquake struck the region on June 24. CBS News' Jonathan Vigliotti 🐋 has more on the story.

A child pred was having issues with his laptop, images that needed to be restored, and other things. He drops it off at a Computer tech place, and the technician found more than 7,000 images of children in provocative clothing and poses. Many under the age of 12. The tech immediately called police and passed along the info/evidence. The next day, when the pred came to pickup his laptop, he was arrested on the spot. If we never let them see the light of day again, they cannot keep doing this. Much harsher punishments are needed for crimes against children!

$✨ Installed 🚗 Death Rally (1996) on pieter dot com and it has an actual really cool music score Grand Theft Auto wasn't directly inspired by it but it does feel very similar, top-down race view, and you can even drive over ppl similarly, nice 😊👍 One feature we might need soon is [ SAVE ] which would save the entire state of the computer because now you can play but the moment you close the tab, next time the computer just resets to the base state again. Would be cool to have it save state James Baicoianu has managed to that before with I think WebFS, so maybe we should add that? I'd like to be able to keep changing the C:\ boot drive with new apps and games though so not sure how that'd work!$
