That's not a "mistake in judgment." If true, it was likely the result of years and years of getting away with it, until he felt he could do whatever he wanted, even run for Governor. The Party would protect him! Until he stood in THEIR way. Then, they put out a coordinated hit to take him out and, like clockwork, the media started being journalists again.

Timothy Hudson had initially been charged as a juvenile and was released pending trial.
