Nick Caserio when asked by Jonathan M Alexander if they could’ve done more personnel wise to help the offense this year: “We had a good enough team to go win any game we played. In the end we didn’t execute well enough. You can’t turn the ball over 5 times.”

@jonmalexander He could have done better with the O-Line but at the end of the day he’s correct. We don’t turn the ball over 8 billion times and we win the game.

@jonmalexander Whenever I hear leadership stumble answering a question, in this case a bit arrogantly, I just say look at the data: Texans Rank Total Yards: 18th Passing Yards:14th Rushing Yards: 22nd Points scored: 13th Why Caserio has difficulty w/ the obvious is unclear.

@jonmalexander People will find a way to pick this apart but he’s not wrong. Could the personnel and play calling be better, sure. But if the offense played somewhat clean football, we could have beaten anyone with that defense.

@jonmalexander This is Nick lying….he 100% is culpable for the Oline. Poor drafting and FA work….he literally may have broken CJ. This would be the second QB the franchise has done this too through pure negligence.

@jonmalexander Dumbass thinks a line full of Oline men who would be on the practice squad of any other team was decent enough to win it all. 😭 One decent but overpaid TE in Schultz and a “What do I even do” TE in Stover

@jonmalexander Worst offensive line of all the playoff teams. 1.7 ypc for our rushing attack. And he only wants to blame the turnovers.

@jonmalexander The draft last year under Caserio was terrible! We desperately needed offensive linemen and he selected only one. The same is true with free agents. Caserio is a horrible general manager!

@jonmalexander So if the team that they had didn’t execute, they weren’t good enough right?

@jonmalexander I’m curious if anyone asked Nick how may if his O line acquisitions sucked so bad that they had to be traded or released. So no, Nick we did NOT have a good enough team.

@jonmalexander Nahhh not a fan of how Caserio handled this question at all, offense was subpar all year anyone with eyes knows this.

@jonmalexander They were still in the game if Stingley doesn’t give up the last TD. BTW, PATS HAD THREE TURNOVERS AND TWO QB FUMBLES THAT THE TEXANS SHOULD HAVE RECOVERED ALSO. THIS IS A VERY SELF-SERVING REPLY FROM CASERIO AND I DON’t like it.where was RB JORDAN. Why didn’t he play vs PATS?

@jonmalexander Admittedly, I knew very little about Nick Caserio but assumed he wasn't very good in the role, considering how bare the cupboard was when it came to offensive weapons. Thats his job. After this response, I now know this guy is a first rate idiot.

@jonmalexander This insane. The offensive line has been bad for three years. The running game has been bad for three years. The wide receivers can’t stay on the field.

@jonmalexander Caserio never has accountability.. we will never win while he’s here I’ve seen the light. We should have a good o line instead he thinks this is good enough

@jonmalexander Living with your head in the crowd. The offense was straight 💩. OL was garbage, no run game, and crap QB play. This guy thinks he's the smartest guy in the room. And if you had a good enough team, you wouldn't have lost multiple games this year and started the season 0-3

@jonmalexander I’m glad we have Higgins but stroud needs a really good WR2 that can get open when teams take away Nico. Asking Higgins his rookie year to come in and take over for Diggs is a lot to ask for

Drew Brees says he missed out on more Super Bowl rings with Saints teams that were good enough to win it all. Marshawn Lynch: “What haven't you done on the football field?” Drew Brees: “No league MVPs.” Mike Robinson: “All them damn stats, you should have more Super Bowls than me. You got any regrets or seasons where you feel like, 'I could have done something here to get another ring?' 'Cause if you're in the game more, you win more.” Drew Brees: “We've all had experiences on teams where you felt like you were good enough to win it all, and it just didn't happen.” “Of the 20 years I played, there were at least three or four other teams that were good enough to win it all. In some cases, I felt like we truly had the best team in the league.” “That's what's unique about the NFL. Other leagues have seven-game series; we have one game. If you have an off night or circumstances don't go your way, it's over. You don't get a chance to come back.” “Take 2011, the most prolific offense in the history of the world. We ended up going to San Francisco and losing in a crazy game.” “Then 2017, the Minneapolis Miracle. We were rolling. If we win that game, we go to Philly, and we didn't fear them.” “2018 was the no-call at our place. In my opinion, we had the best team in football that year. If that call is made, we go play the Patriots in the Super Bowl.” “And then look at 2020, we were good enough to win it all that year, too.”
