šŸ”„ Nick Robinson isn’t having it. Asked when the two crypto billionaires actually moved to the UK - potentially crucial to whether Reform can keep their Ā£72 MILLION - Richard Tice says to trust Reform’s compliance team. Robinson: ā€œI don’t trust any statement by politicians wanting to bank tens...

Listened to that and it was so refreshing to hear an interviewer actually challenging some of the nonsense uttered by a respondent! 🤣

Not mine but….funnily enough Reform doesn't have anybody to speak on social care.. but it has a very detailed policy on crypto currency.. & it would coincidentally make these billionaires even more money

This the same compliance team that told NF he does not need to declare the Ā£5m? Also the compliance team who told him that resigning and triggering a by-election would wipe the standards inquiry? They have a track record of getting these calls right….. right?

Reform will have to provide evidence when they moved to the UK and if they lie it could have tax implications for the donors. Be funny if they landed them with a big tax bill.

Reform’s donation and compliance record this year raises serious questions: the undisclosed Harborne gift to Farage, the Cottrell/Tisun/Britain Means Business trail, the Channel 4 sting, and scrutiny from the police and the NCA. A party that has already had to justify its funding cannot simply trust that next Ā£72 million will be accepted without question. The straightforward demand? Every party should publish the dates they became UK-resident for donation purposes and clarify the basis for approving these gifts. If their record is clear, the controversy ends. But if not, a simple ā€œtrust usā€ won’t suffice to restore confidence.

Seems to me there is no money. If the cap is to be backdated and Reform know that then they’re just making up promises of cash to start another fake row.

Tice also ā€œassuredā€ us, when some very undesirable candidates began to be revealed as full-blown cranks and racists, that Reform has ā€œa very robust vetting processā€.

Anyone who thinks these crypto billionaires are funding a political party to make every UK individual better off really needs to give their head a shake. They're simply doing it to make themselves considerably richer...considerably richer!!...oh and Farage et al šŸ‘šŸ»

Reform were 100% confident on Farage’s expenses, on his house, on his Ā£5 million. They need to be doing the due diligence and so Tice should know. But I wouldn’t bank on the Reform compliance team being correct and Tice avoiding the question seems very telling.

A man so slimy that a small lateral force applied to him in any particular will cause him to slide in that direction for an infinite period of time.

Isn’t Ā£72 million pounds an odd amount? It sounds like a figure from a foreign currency exchange.

Let's retrospectively remove voting rights from all but British citizens, even if that changes the composition of parliament. Let's bring true Democracy back to the deserving people.

A man living in Dubai, taking bungs from Hong Kong and Thailand, promising the earth and very clearly, not doing the due dilligence before accepting the money. Shambles.

But I don't recall Robinson querying where the 4 million donations to elect Starmer as Labour leader came from. But he cheered on the anti Semitic smears on Jeremy Corbyn. Funny that.

Vote reform vote for real change

Benzer Videolar

No one witnessed Tyler Robinson. No video or any witness testimony of him, a gun, or any forensic evidence at all. Except dna on a rifle he owned that wasn’t tested for residue and did not alert any of the dogs. The footage never shows a gun or a clear shot of his face. It appears to be multiple people or he changes outfits. There is no evidence matching any bullet to the gun they claim was used. The only ā€œevidenceā€ they have are text messages that don’t sound real that have not been made available to the defense to analyze. Text messages can be sent by anyone. That isn’t evidence. And a confession that doesn’t exist and a claim his mother recognized him from the footage that we now can all see. That statement has not been made available and probably doesn’t exist, and it doesn’t matter. The video doesn’t show any crime and it’s not clear enough for any positive ID. There are mountains of circumstantial evidence that turning point USA conspired to either kill Charlie Kirk or cover up his murder. There is an end times cult that is convinced that in order to bring back Jesus they need the US to lose to Iran and the world to turn on Israel and burn. That’s a fact btw. That’s what Ben Shapiro and Trump and kushner and the ā€œpastorsā€ surrounding Charlie believe. They are claiming anyone that is NOT in their world destroying death cult is in fact in Candace Owens cult. People who don’t think Tyler Robinson killed Charlie Kirk and Erika is a crazy bitch. Everything I just said is obviously accurate. It never ends well for death cults. This is not the first and it’s not the last. I recommend staying far far away as they destroy themselves

BBC News, "Reform UK has received two record donations, both of £36 million" "Given by two different crypto currency billionaires, Ben Delo and Christopher Harborne" "Last year, if you add up all of the cash donations given to all of the political parties, it comes to about £69m" "These two donations alone come to £72m" This should alarm people regardless of whether they support Reform UK, Labour, the Conservatives or anyone else. The issue is not simply that the donations are large; it is that two ultra-wealthy individuals can give more to one political party than all parties collectively received in cash donations over the previous year. A democracy is meant to rest on political equality: each of us gets one vote. But that principle is weakened when a tiny number of billionaires can supply a party with a campaign machine, advertising reach, staff, polling, data, events and media attention on a scale unavailable to everyone else. They may not literally be buying votes, but they are able to buy an extraordinary amount of political influence. And influence is not only about an explicit quid pro quo. A party that owes much of its financial strength to a couple of donors knows who enabled it. It may become more receptive to their worldview, commercial interests and priorities - consciously or unconsciously - while ordinary supporters, trade unions, local members and voters cannot possibly command comparable access. The fact that these sums are declared does not make the underlying imbalance healthy. Transparency lets us see the problem; it does not solve it. If £72 million from two people can outweigh the combined annual cash donations to every party, the question is whether Britain still has a system in which political power is primarily earned through public support, or one in which vast private wealth can purchase a far louder voice than the public.
