Since v14, FSD has this weird obsession with moving from the inner lane to the outer lane during a left turn. For me, it happens on every two-lane left turn. And it does it in a very jerky, dangerous way — even if it means cutting in front of another car, FSD will still insist on doing it. Is this because FSD is more afraid of hitting the curb at the corner than of getting rear-ended by someone else? This really feels like a serious bug to me. I’m not sure whether it’s because the model is overfitted to avoid curbs during turns, or because it was trained to always end up in the rightmost lane after a left turn. I honestly don’t know, but I really hope this gets fixed soon.

Just lost ALL Autopilot, FSD, even basic cruise control and Tesla Technical Assistance says they can’t do anything and apparently my car needs to go to a service center for a software update even though there are no warnings on the car. I got an FSD strike and the whole system went down. They said they can’t turn FSD back on and forgive the strikes remotely even though they did just that in January 2025 for the California fires. When I drove from Nevada into California back then my 4 strikes disappeared. Unfortunately, now I need to drive over 1000 miles with no type of cruise control or driver assistance at all. There are no warning lights on or anything of the sort. I even did a forced software update via the service mode and my Starlink, plus a few hard and soft reboots and that still did not fix it. Sadly the car is now less safe than it was a few minutes ago. With how amazing Tesla FSD has become, I’m at the point now where I actually prefer to drive rather than fly in most cases. FSD allows you to travel cover an incredible amount of distance without any major fatigue since the car handles 100% of the driving, charging, and parking. It also makes the trips so much more fun and rewarding. People always ask, don’t you get bored? My answer is actually no, we get to explore so many new places along the way, take in the scenery more, and it’s just overall a more pleasant experience than manually driving and stressing about which exit to take etc. FSD handles all of that for you. If you have a Tesla, or are planning to get one, I highly suggest taking it on a road trip somewhere. It’ll be the best roadtrip you’ve ever taken.

Today marks 21 straight days of our family’s West Coast road trip in the Cybertruck. So far we’ve driven 3,493 miles, and every mile has reminded me why I believe this is THE greatest road-trip vehicle ever built. Tesla FSD has handled all the driving, which means I get to spend more time playing & talking with my family, enjoying the scenery, and arriving at each destination feeling far less worn out than I ever did on road trips in the past in a non-Tesla. The Cybertruck has been an absolute beast. It’s comfortable, incredibly capable, has more than enough room for everything we’ve packed, and has taken us through cities, highways, mountains, and national parks without missing a beat. After 21 straight days on the road, it’s needed zero maintenance, just charging and going, like a phone. The combination of the Cybertruck, Tesla’s Supercharger network, and FSD completely changes what a road trip feels like. After 3,493 miles and 21 consecutive days behind the wheel, I can honestly say I’ve never experienced anything like it. A Tesla truly makes road trips multiple times more enjoyable… I can’t ever imagine driving anything else.

Today marks 21 straight days of our family’s West Coast road trip in the Cybertruck. So far we’ve driven 3,493 miles, and every mile has reminded me why I believe this is THE greatest road-trip vehicle ever built. Tesla FSD has handled all the driving, which means I get to spend more time playing & talking with my family, enjoying the scenery, and arriving at each destination feeling far less worn out than I ever did on road trips in the past in a non-Tesla. The Cybertruck has been an absolute beast. It’s comfortable, incredibly capable, has more than enough room for everything we’ve packed, and has taken us through cities, highways, mountains, and national parks without missing a beat. After 21 straight days on the road, it’s needed zero maintenance, just charging and going, like a phone. The combination of the Cybertruck, Tesla’s Supercharger network, and FSD completely changes what a road trip feels like. After 3,493 miles and 21 consecutive days behind the wheel, I can honestly say I’ve never experienced anything like it. A Tesla truly makes road trips multiple times more enjoyable… I can’t ever imagine driving anything else.
