Watch this: I’m cruising in the right lane at ~45 mph when the green station wagon on my left suddenly drifts over, cutting sharply into my lane and toward the shoulder. FSD’s main issue in Denmark (besides horrible parking) is ignoring right-turn arrows. I was honked at while daydreaming here😂 I had to press the accelerator so it would go. Tesla AI when’s the next update? You now have a larger FSD active training data from the fleet 🤔

Tonight, I tested the latest Tesla FSD build v14.2.1.25 on my Cybertruck while turning into my neighborhood—and unfortunately, the persistent phantom emergency braking bug is still there. The vehicle suddenly slams on the brakes, detecting a nonexistent “ghost” obstacle in the road. (See video) This issue first appeared with FSD v14.1 and hasn’t been resolved yet. 📍 GPS location: 28.240491, -81.606942 My nearby friend with a 2025 Cybertruck experiences the exact same problem at the same location. Notably, it happens in both FSD mode and regular manual driving—but only started after the v14.1 update. I’d really appreciate reposts to help bring this to the attention of Tesla AI, Ashok Elluswamy, or Elon Musk so the team can prioritize a fix! 🚀

Today Tesla FSD unequivocally saved me and my fiancée from a major collision or worse. Green arrow to turn left and FSD starts to go then suddenly stops, I'm thinking why did you stop I hit the accelerator pedal, it breaks again at the same time a SUV barrels through the intersection running a red light. From my view In the car I never saw the vehicle. Had I been in any other vehicle and pressed the accelerator I have no doubt I would have been T- boned in my driver side door. This happens everyday and lives are lost. This technology saves lives. Thank you Tesla and Tesla_AI for keeping us safe anywhere we go. 2026 Model Y AWD on V14.3.6

Requesting to please prioritize improvements in this scenario Tesla AI Yun-Ta Tsai. This is a safety issue. At this intersection it happens every time. FSD waits until the absolute last second to merge away from the ending lane leaving almost zero room to safely merge when there was visibly more room to start merging sooner. See side repeater view.

Posting this as a Tesla FSD public service and the outside chance Tesla see’s this. Yesterday FSD nearly drove into the concrete jersey barrier on hwy 17 as I was traveling to Santa Cruz California. I intervened a fraction of a second before impact. This video doesn’t show the event but does show the conditions a few minutes later when I thought to honk the horn to save a clip. I have used FSD for years and this was the most epic fail. Note that there is little margin for error. I am on hw3 and have NOT received 14 lite Tesla AI Elon Musk Please tag the appropriate team if you can.

On the footage it’s hard to tell just how close it was, but in that exact moment me and my wife both thought “there’s no way a human could react fast enough.” FSD did. My Tesla sees more than me. I was confused when FSD started to slow down. Nothing was in the road. Then I realized the right pillar camera saw a baby deer running alongside me. It slowed and braked until the deer ran across the road. The deer and I both arrived home safely.

And at high speed, that’ll make the hairs on your neck stand up. Tesla has solved seemingly the hardest aspects of autonomy… yet this navigation/lane planning issue keeps showing up version after version. One capability I want to see Tesla AI ensure FSD has is understanding situations like this where a trash loaded trailer is on the highway at speed and the software understands this could be a situation where debris might blow out of the trailer and move back or over to another lane. That’s what most humans would do and it’s to protect from potential future damage or a dangerous situation.

Dear Tesla AI, I am on I-95 South near Washington DC. I just disengaged my Tesla because I thought it was confusing the shoulder for a lane. I logged the disengagement as critical. As you can see in the video below, it turns out that once again, I’ve mistakenly assumed my meat brain knows better than your AI model. Since v14, FSD has this weird obsession with moving from the inner lane to the outer lane during a left turn. For me, it happens on every two-lane left turn. And it does it in a very jerky, dangerous way — even if it means cutting in front of another car, FSD will still insist on doing it. Is this because FSD is more afraid of hitting the curb at the corner than of getting rear-ended by someone else? This really feels like a serious bug to me. I’m not sure whether it’s because the model is overfitted to avoid curbs during turns, or because it was trained to always end up in the rightmost lane after a left turn. I honestly don’t know, but I really hope this gets fixed soon.

As Tesla AI does all the work getting us to our destination, my kids are enjoying the match, I’m relaxing, and fast internet is being beamed down from space in real time on the go. A few years ago, this would have sounded like science fiction, but today, for my kids, with Starlink and FSD, it’s just a normal road trip.
