Nioh 3 PC performance is tested in today's video. It's heavy on GPU resources, but runs smoothly and has a decent array of settings. However, there are bizarre issues running this if you can't lock to specific frame-rates - and that needs addressing:

Borderlands 4 has a certain art style that doesn't look like it needs these kind of settings to be turned on to play at a high framerate but sadly it does and you can defend this if you want but the future of gaming looks bleak, using this tech to not optimize the games further will just result in input latency increase as every game will be delivered with frame-gen turned on in the devs mind.

I still can't believe we are building this quality game that runs on my Mac. Day 18 of building my own GTA 6 with a loop of AI agents. Today's progress: - the shadows and car reflections look real now, not like a cheap game anymore. - spent over a day on performance, so it runs smooth. By the way this is a Mac, not a gaming PC, so a lot of the rendering and lighting is not gonna be the same as the NVIDIA GPU. We are almost there. right now i'm debugging the driving so it feels smooth. quick question, what do you all want to see in the demo?

I tested this on the 4070 Super, and while there is a performance difference, it’s not huge. The GPU also pulls more power on the older driver. If you’re using Path Tracing and have a higher-power 40 series GPU, it’s still worth trying, you might see a bigger performance boost.

Assassins Creed: Shadows PC Port is absolute garbage. I'm playing AC: Shadows both on Console and PC, unfortunately even if you have a high-end PC, the Game stutters on PC. This is most likely because of Denuvo and bad Optimization. The Frametime is so bad I can't even begin to describe it, I'm forced to turn Frame-Gen on just to have a smooth experience. Disabling Frame-Gen and even running this Game on the lowest possible settings still results in a sub-par experience. This clip credit to zWORMz Gaming shows him trying to run AC: Shadows with Max Settings on an RTX 5070 Ti with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and the Game still struggles to hit 60FPS! having specs anything even below these ones means that the Game will run even worse on most PC Gamers. Do you think turning your graphics down to performance mode in Fortnite is cheating? Why can't console players do this and only PC players? Did you know that 85% of people who play Fortnite use a console? So why is this feature only available to a small fraction of the player base and not the majority? There's no debate that playing on low graphics or performance mode gives you a playing advantage. I literally demonstrate how much of an advantage it gives you in this video so don't even bother arguing this if you're a bot. It's easier on the eyes, easier to see your enemy and there's little to no special effects and no shadows to get in the way of gameplay. Also in storm you can basically just see perfectly except it's purple. What do you think? Should they offer a performance mode in the graphics settings on console? Would you use it?

GOOD NEWS: Now there's a camera mod that lets you achieve this, and it is way better than I expected! The left video is vanilla and right video camera angle is very similar to Witcher 3 and God of war 2018. There are tons of other options that lets you experiment even further, but I found my sweet spot for it. I tested it in combat too and it works flawless. Modding community is just awesome in PC Gaming man!
