No izanagi no plot armor konan will die the first 3 seconds into the fight as obito won’t need the rennigan and he’s purely there to kill konan . He would have simply snapped her neck here and konan vs obito will last only a single panel

It's impossible for Obito to survive. Even he can't even use genjutsu because Konan was in paper form. Only war arc jinchurki Obito survive this.

There was no plot armor to this fight Obito was trained by Madara Uchiha a ninja who was born 100 years ago and knows more about Uchiha techniques than anyone and has a higher battle IQ than most ninjas it was a great counter to a technique he’s never seen before

The truth is this trap was mostly specialized against obito. It can work against other characters but anyone with flight, some sort of indurance amp or specialized training like the raikages and others use, or really just a teleport jutsu could beat it.

He needed to survive the 10mins explosion amd his kamui only lasts for 5 minutes, he was able to use thr izanagi here for the remaining t minutes because he had hashirama cells. Danzo could use his for a minute each
