How can it be "suspicion of murder" when they haven't even found a body yet? 🤔

In all of the years of watching this show I have never been so upset at a storyline 😢

I was certain there was usually a teensy weensy thing called evidence that was required…….there is absolutely nothing linking Roy with the disappearance, it’s all just conjecture. The police never seem to be portrayed in a positive light on the Street.

Don’t the writers have a police adviser? Ridiculous basic errors in the arrest/ interview/ release process.

What exactly has Roy supposed to have done with the body? He doesn't own or even drive a car! How did he get the body out of the flat? No one saw him? Perhaps he made her into meat pies at his cafe, like Sweeney Todd 😁. Even awful DS Swain could be able to work that one out 😁

A few posts on this thread mentioning how can you be arrested when there’s no body. In reality, some individuals have been arrested on suspicion of murder, charged & convicted. Look up Helen’s Law. I know Corrie is drama but in “Roy’s” case, DS Swain is clutching at short straws.

Writers need sacking. Roy has not had any involvement at all 🤦🏼‍♀️

Roy wouldn't hurt a fly let alone another human being.
