Some observations after riding a 2-Wheeler for 200kms in Bangkok. • Roads are smooth as butter. Never did I worry about looking at the ground for potholes while riding. • 4-5 speed breakers during the entire trip of 200kms that too on a service road. • No paver blocks. • 2-Wheelers violate traffic laws (Haven't seen a car/bus jump a signal). • Pedestrians are respected while they cross the road. • Hardly any traffic cops on roads to catch offenders or to manage traffic. • Road signs painted on roads clearly visible. • Zebra Crossing is respected and is visible too. • No random U-Turns. • No jaywalkers. • Cars need to wait for a clear road before entering the main road from bylanes/U-Turns. Vehicles going straight have priority. • Vehicles respect lane discipline and keep safe distance between two cars. • Tuk Tuk drivers are like our auto rickshaw drivers only, will ask for exorbitant fares for short distances. • There is wrong side driving here too by bike taxis, delivery boys but the number is far smaller than what we see in Mumbai. • Plenty of direction signs throughout the city to guide the motorists. • No multicolour dance bar type street lights. • Next to zero honking by vehicles. • No ugly birthday wishes to nagarsevaks/politicians on illegal banners over dividers. • No illegal hawkers on the footpaths. • Not enough dustbins across the city, but still it is way cleaner. Even public markets are clean. No pan tobacco spit stains. We are decades back to Bangkok in 2024. Hopefully we should reach their standards in the next 50 years.

📍Bengaluru, Karnataka: A young child, estimated to be under 10 years old, was seen riding a two-wheeler on a busy public road while struggling to control the vehicle. Allowing minors to operate vehicles puts lives at serious risk and reflects clear negligence by guardians. Reminder from Deadly Kalesh for public safety & road awareness.

Insecurity. HERE ARE THE RED FLAGS TO HELP YOU IDENTIFY IMPERSONATORS, KIDNAPPERS, CRIMINALS, TERRORISTS ON MILITARY OR PARAMILITARY UNIFORMS WHEN DRIVING OR TRAVELING THROUGH THE HIGHWAYS IN NIGERIA. VISIBILITY AND STATIONED VEHICLES. When driving and you suddenly sight men in uniform and guns, either soldiers in Army camouflage, police, or paramilitary uniforms standing on the express in an isolated area, slow down from afar and scan the area for proper visibility. If the road is a two lane express, ensure both sides of the road where the uniform men are standing are not covered with bush. If the both sides of the road is covered with thick and over grown grass, please it is a red flag. Before soldiers, police, civil defence, immigration or customs set up checkpoints or road blocks in the middle of nowhere, they will properly clear the bushes on one side, or on both sides of the road where they intend to mount their road block. They will build makeshift shades or seats. They may build makeshift shelter and create a proper space for vehicles to park. At a certain distance, the road block will be very visible to you as a motorists. HERE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT. If you see such road blocks, please check both sides of the road if there is a stationed vehicle of the officers. For such an isolated roadblock there must be a well branded vehicle of the organisation parked by the side of the road for easy identification, confidence, and protection assurance. If the men who blocked the road are on Army camouflage, you will see a well branded Army Hilux parked by the side of the road. If they are on police uniform, you will see a well branded police vehicle parked by the side of the road. If they are on customs, immigration or civil defence uniform, you will see their branded vehicles parked by the side of the road. The vehicle is for proper identification and protection assurance. Please note: on such isolated road blocks or checkpoint, they will never use unbranded vehicles, unmarked vehicles, or private cars. If you don't see a branded vehicle of the force parked by one side of the road when you sight such road blocks from a distance, it a big red flag. If such road block is not very visible from a distance, it's also a big red flag. HOW THE OFFICERS ARE KITTED UP. Check how the uniform men on the road are dressed from up to down. If they are on a legitimate stop and search or road block, they will dress properly from head to toe. They will Put on their uniforms properly, with boots. They will put on their caps and will properly shave their beards as officers. No overgrown hair, no dreadlocks, no long beards. If you see them on pam slippers, snickers, or rubber shoe, it is a very big red flag. HOW THEIR GUNS ARE POSITIONED OR DISPLAYED. If they are on legitimate road block, or on a stop and search, they will never point their guns on oncoming vehicles. Their guns will either be hanged on their back, or seen pointing to the ground. In this video, you will see that they are not properly kitted up. They are putting on pam slippers, and mounting road block. (RED FLAG) You will not see a branded vehicle of the Army parked on any side of the road. (RED FLAG) You can clearly see some of them pointing their guns towards oncoming vehicles. Ready to shoot. (RED FLAG) Please don't be deceived by their uniform. They are bandits and terrorists using the Nigerian military camouflage to disguise. Retweet to save a life.

Commuters in Hinjawadi IT Park Phase 3 are in a state of panic after a Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) truck was caught on camera spilling wet cement across the main road. This reckless act has turned the busy stretch into a slippery death trap, posing a severe risk of skidding for two-wheelers and other vehicles. Residents are now demanding strict legal action from the Hinjawadi Traffic Police against the truck operators, following a history of fatal accidents involving heavy machinery in the IT hub. #Hinjawadi #RoadSafety #PuneTraffic #ITPark #PublicSafety

A video from Pune’s Mundhwa-Kharadi Road is going viral on social media, showing an Innova Crysta allegedly being driven recklessly late at night. According to the person who shared the clip, the SUV was using flashing lights, cutting through traffic at high speed, and carrying a “VIP” sign on the vehicle despite HSRP number plate rules applying to all vehicles. The person also claimed that the vehicle had a signature of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar displayed at the rear, while the driver continued dangerous lane-cutting on the busy road. Citizens online are now demanding strict action against reckless driving and misuse of special markings or lights on private vehicles. Police verification and official action in the matter are still awaited. #PuneNews #Kharadi #RoadSafety #TrafficRules #Punetimesmirror

Here's what went wrong on Waghodia Road → and it's avoidable every time. Near Mahesh Complex, on the stretch toward Kaladarshan Char Rasta in Vadodara, a two-wheeler carrying three riders was moving at high speed when it struck two pedestrians crossing the road. Both were injured; one has been hospitalized and is being treated. Two things stacked against the riders here: → Triple riding cuts control and reaction time → Speed removes any margin to stop for a pedestrian mid-crossing Police are investigating, and locals on the road are already calling for stricter enforcement against speeding and triple-riding in the area. If you ride two-up (or worse, three-up) regularly → this is the moment that costs the most. Tag a friend who still triple-rides just for a quick trip. ⚠️ Caution to Mokila HMDA Plot Bidders ⚠️ Upcoming Mokila HMDA auction is on 29th June & 30th June and I visited the site today, and here are my thoughts. The HMDA layout is shaping up very well. The development quality looks good, and the internal roads and overall planning appear to be done to a decent standard. However, the current approach roads are a major concern. • The approach road from Mokila Main Road / Waterford Villas side is decent initially, but remember it is only a 30 ft road, and nearly 1 km towards the end is still a kacha road. • The Kollur approach road is currently in a pathetic condition. • The third access road, which was probably operational earlier via the Aparna venture side, is now closed. Though the brochure mentions 3 HMDA planned approach roads, none of them are actually under progress or visibly planned on ground as of now. Personally, I would not recommend bidding beyond ₹65,000 per sq yard at the current stage. There are other options like Gachibowli County and JB Ventures plots directly on the RR7 Extension Road in the ₹55K–₹60K range, with much better connectivity and just 10–12 minutes from the Kollur exit. It doesn’t make much sense to invest ₹70K–₹80K+ without a proper and dependable approach road.

Today Ali and I went to Marjayoun, entering on Khardele road. At the end of the day, when we driving down the same road to exit, we were stopped and turned around by the army who informed us that the 'mechanism' allows entry to the area but not exit, forcing us back into a dangerous situation where we again had to pass the Israeli army occupied area. The Israelis and Americans are dictating who can drive down roads in an unoccupied area of Lebanon. Cameraman: Ali Ezzedine

A stone through a windshield, mid-traffic, for no visible reason. This isn't road rage - it's assault. 🪨💥 Dashcam footage from the Delhi-NCR region shows two riders on a motorcycle allegedly hurling a large stone at a moving taxi's rear windshield, shattering it completely within seconds. No prior collision or altercation is visible in the clip - the motive remains unclear. The taxi continued moving after impact, and it's not yet known whether the driver or any passengers were struck by flying glass or the stone itself. The motorcycle fled the scene immediately after. Objects thrown at moving vehicles don't just cause damage - a sudden strike like this can startle a driver into losing control at speed, putting everyone on the road at risk, not just the target vehicle.📍 #RoadSafetyIndia #RoadRage #DashcamIndia #StaySafeIndia

From the bus,it could be TS or AP. Let's see this from a hazard perception point of view. There's a lot of time without any vehicle on the road and there are a lot of gaps too and the vehicles are not at great speed too and they could stop on time,if the biker suddenly turns across. Why did the biker pick up a time when there's a bus behind? Hat Tip : If you're driving a car and you see a stopped biker on the road shoulder, anticipate a move but don't be a victim. If you're a biker, learn to pick safe gaps. #HazardPerception @SafetyOverSpeed Kasi காசி R-Three

⚠️ Traffic Alert: There is “chaos” on Clifftown Road in Southend city centre this afternoon, while workers start to clear up rubble that fell from a building yesterday. A police cordon remains in place on Clifftown Road after part of a building collapsed above SAKS bar. But the road has reportedly not been closed at Chichester Road, leading to drivers not realising the road is closed and vehicles having to turn around outside Southend Central train station. Two people were injured by the falling debris as they walked past. Thankfully, neither required hospital treatment after being assessed by ambulance crews at the scene. Ruhul Shamsuddin, founder of Lordsons on Clifftown Road, said: "It was inches from a tragedy. Sunday afternoon, families and kids everywhere, and if it had fell a few feet over we would be talking about something far worse than a shut road. “We got very lucky. Now it’s chaos out here, the road is closed, cars turning round in the street, and every business on the stretch is taking the hit." The cordon remains in place today because of concerns that more masonry could fall while specialist structural engineers assess the building. If you're heading into the area, avoid Clifftown Road until the building is made safe.

Why Hyderabad Drowns After A 20min Rain? I may not have a simple answer to this complex question but was in Raidurgam area yesterday and this what I saw. This is right next to the Raidurgam metro. It is like the IT hub of Hyderabad and look at the state of things here. Roads are being dug to lay drainage pipes. Locals told me it has been close to a year since they started digging. The debris is just lying on the road, existing drainage seems to be damaged and all the sewer is flowing on to the main road. To make things worse, many are parking right on the road making the congested area much more difficult to commute. There is no parking space at Raidurgam Metro. If someone wants to take the metro, they have to arrive on a separate vehicle to reach. Plus there are a million autos lined up on the road. Traffic police who hide behind trees or corner you in some random street won’t regulate traffic on the main roads. They won’t show a solution to park vehicles but will collect challans. Why are you collecting challans without any space being earmarked for parking? Do you expect people to jump off a parachute and get into a metro? We look at China, Japan with their advanced technology of laying roads in a day and will be wowed. Here governments talk about AI city, Future City and such money minting projects for the government and still get wowed. Why isn’t AI or advanced technology being used to repair roads, drainages or maintain infrastructure in the existing city??? Why this craze to call the existing city a dump and then pumping huge public money into a nonexistent Future City? Why is governance driven by real estate ambitions of a few politicians?

A wide, clear city road. Moderate traffic. A scooter rider, no helmet, starts drifting - leaning, over-correcting, unable to hold a line between the vehicles around him. No pothole. No other vehicle at fault. Just over 30 seconds of visibly deteriorating control before he loses balance completely and goes down, sliding into the middle of live traffic. Cars brake hard around him. No one else was hit. What happened to him after isn't shown, and we don't know it. What the video does show, clearly: this wasn't caused by the road or by anyone else on it. 🎯 Takeaway: An unhelmeted rider who can't hold a straight line on a smooth, clear road is a warning sign to everyone nearby - give that rider space, not just right of way. If you've seen a rider like this on your road, what did you do - slow down, give space, call it in? Reply and share. 🔁 RT so more people recognize the signs before it happens near them. The1957News has received exclusive footage showing some alleged National Security officers assaulting staff of the Ministry of Energy. The incident is said to have occurred at Kasoa Amanfrom on the morning of Thursday, January 15, 2026. According to an eyewitness account, some staff of the Energy Ministry, while traveling from Kasoa to the office on board an official bus, came across a pickup truck parked very close to the middle of the road, making it difficult for the Ministry’s staff bus to exit into the main road. Upon the bus exiting into the main road, a staff member on board the bus informed the driver of the pickup that he had parked wrongly. When the bus moved, the pickup allegedly followed and crossed the Ministry’s bus at top speed. The driver of the bus maneuvered but was crossed a second time. The video from the incident shows the occupants of the pickup truck, who are alleged to be National Security officers, attacking some members of the Ministry through the window of the bus. They are then seen forcing their way onto the bus and assaulting occupants of the bus. According to a source at the Energy Ministry, the alleged National Security officers, after assaulting three persons on the bus, including the driver, dragged one staff member off the bus. According to the source, the whereabouts of the staff member who was taken away is currently unknown.

Ambulance Stuck But He Was Busy in Laundry Shop This happened in Bilekahalli this morning at around 28 Feb 12.30 pm. This man had parked his car right on the road and wanted to go to the laundry for some work. Upon requesting him not to park in the main road and to move the car slightly ahead, he shouted back at the person saying there is no NO PARKING board here and I will park here itself. And because of his arrogance, vehicles started queuing up in a large number including an ambulance which was carrying a person in emergency.

Cop pulls over a rider for popping wheelies on a main road. Rider admits it, knows he messed up. Instead of hammering him with an $1,100 ticket, the officer — who rides himself — gives him a warning, some straight talk, and sends him on his way with a smile. Real human interaction. No ego. Just fair enforcement and grace. This is what a good cop looks like. Respect. 👮‍♂️🏍️

Viewer Discretion: A family was on their way to Haridwar when their trip turned into an unthinkable tragedy - CCTV footage captured the moment their car overshot a highway exit on the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor and the driver began reversing on the main carriageway to get back to it. An SUV coming from behind never had a chance to stop and slammed into them at full speed. Four members of the same family were killed on impact and three others were left seriously injured. One wrong decision on a highway can end everything in a split second - this is why reversing on any major road or highway is one of the most dangerous things a driver can do. Prayers for this family and the survivors fighting to recover.
