Norm Macdonald had absolutely no filter when it came to sensitive topics, and his take on the Crocodile Hunter is one of his most infamous moments. He really knew how to push the boundaries of what you are supposed to talk about on live television. Norm: And you know...

Norm Macdonald realizing halfway through an interview that he has no clue how many kids Jerry Seinfeld has is peak comedy. The way he just moves on to talking about legal jargon is why nobody else comes close to his timing. Norm: You don't have a child. Jerry: Pardon me? Norm: You don't have a child. So you don't have to worry about. Jerry: I don't? I have three. Norm: Well, that is what you thought, then. It is honestly impressive how he can just derail a conversation and end up talking about how breaking and entering sounds like a landlord problem.

Appearing on Adam Carolla's show, Norm Macdonald explained why Michael Richards was not actually a racist after his infamous comedy club outburst. Norm Macdonald: He is not a racist and when you say something like that crazy it can only be a joke you know, I mean he was out of his head element, he didn't know what to do, but there is no way that a guy who is racist screams it at the top of his lungs. Adam Carolla: Well certainly, I do not think he was anticipating the fact that a cell phone could have been putting this on to CNN as he was saying. Norm Macdonald: I think he was right, he wouldn't do it on the Craig Ferguson show. The weird dynamic of old school comedians trying to logic their way through major public scandals on air is always wild to look back on. Have you ever seen an old school celebrity try to defend a friend's career meltdown on a live broadcast?

Norm Macdonald was the absolute master of being hilariously inappropriate in settings where everyone else was playing it straight. His appearance on The Larry Sanders Show is a perfect example of his timing and ability to completely derail a "serious" celebrity interview with the most absurd, uncomfortable, and dry observations. The way he manages to turn a conversation about homelessness into a bizarre, wandering bit about a dog is genius. He knew exactly how to make the other guests and the host, Garry Shandling, visibly squirm. Norm: "I see one guy there the other day in New York... had a dog with him. And that's tough. Do you feel sorry for the... for the dog, you know?" You really couldn't write comedy this dry; he was just on another level.

Norm Macdonald explaining to Howard Stern how the president of NBC called him to say he was fired because he was just not funny is wild. I would simply go into hiding forever if a network boss told me that. Norm Macdonald: He said he didn't want me to do update. Why? Because uh um he doesn't think I was funny. Howard Stern: He said that to your face? Norm Macdonald: Yeah, on the phone. He did this. He said to me that that update is like dragging down the show.

Gary Payton says he taught Kobe his secrets because Kobe asked him to teach him, despite knowing he would use that information against him for the rest of his career “Kobe was already different. He was a different kid. I was about 10 or 11 years into the NBA at the time, and Kobe didn’t have a fear of asking anybody how to get better.” “He came by me and was like, ‘Big bro, you be doing this and that. I really want to learn this because of you.’ When he said that, that took something in my heart. A kid with his ability, knowing where he was going, really wanted to learn, and he didn’t have an ego.” “I didn’t mind. I didn’t care about him knowing how to do it and stop it because if he knows it, it makes me better too. Because I gave him the game, now I’ve got to learn how to stop him. I’ve got to show him something else.” “It didn’t really bother me, and me and him got so tight. Especially when I went to the Lakers and was mentoring him, we got really, really tight.”

Norm Macdonald delivering his final emotional goodbye on David Letterman's show is heartbreaking, and honestly I would simply tear up every single time if I had to say goodbye to an icon like that. Norm Macdonald: Listen folks, this will be my last time on the David Letterman show. Norm Macdonald: We all know that David Letterman was the greatest talk show host who ever lived. Norm Macdonald: Mr. Letterman, he has no truck for the sentimental, but if something is true it is not sentimental, and I say in truth, I love you. David Letterman: Oh my god. No way you watch Norm say that without feeling completely wrecked💔😢

Norm Eisen is the outside counsel for LULAC. They recently presented him with an award. During Norm’s speech, he alluded to another Trump impeachment. He has already spent millions of our taxpayer dollars on his first two impeachments, which were really about interfering in our elections. Norm ran down the various cases that he has filed with LULAC, including the birthright citizenship case. Norm said LULAC had to find complainants (which I believe could be a reason to have Norm disbarred). Imagine spending every hour of your life targeting one man for political purposes. It’s truly unhinged and needs to stop.

Chandler Smith had much to say about the impact Kyle Busch had on him, as well as the many Kyle Busch Motorsports alumni in the Truck Series (and beyond), after paying tribute to his former boss with his signature bow. "He meant a lot to me in a sense of he took the time out of his day when I had questions. Not to rush me, he would sit me down and explain what I was asking and giving me the answer, and being thorough about it. "... He cared really deeply about his drivers. And the ones he believed in, you could definitely tell, because those were the ones that he wanted to really take time with." Chandler says Kyle was an amazing boss and great mentor - pointing out the KBM alumni have reached the Cup Series - and "one of the sweetest individuals that you would ever meet" off the racetrack. "We'll miss him deeply. The garage still isn't the same and it never will be."

In his 20s, Norm faced his first battle with cancer. He kept it secret and returned to comedy, saying: "The brave thing to do if you have cancer is not talk about it. Just have it and keep it a secret." Lesson: Not everything needs to be a public spectacle.

Comedy legend Norm Macdonald telling a story about meeting his new neighbor: The setup is simple. Norm has moved into a new place, and being neighborly, he knocks on the door next to his to introduce himself. "I'm your new neighbor," he tells the guy. "Good to see you, nice to nice to run into you, welcome to the neighborhood." The neighbor mentions he works at the University of Science. When Norm asks what he does there, the guy says: "I'm a professor of logic." Norm has never heard of it. So the professor offers to explain by example: "Do you own a dog house?" "Yes I do." "Well then that means you probably have a dog." "Yes." "Well that means you're likely you have a family if you have a dog." "Yes I do." "Well then that means you got kids, you're married." "Yes yes I am." "Well then you're a heterosexual man." "Yes sir I am." The professor explains the trick: "You see that's logic there. I asked if simply from finding out you had a dog house I made this series of inferences and I found you're a heterosexual man simply from the fact that you had a dog house." Norm is amazed. "Good God isn't that something." He says goodbye, invites the professor over for a chicken sometime, and heads off to catch a bus. At the bus stop, no bus is coming. A guy lights a cigarette, hoping it will summon one. It doesn't. Norm tells him, "Well that theory really worked huh." The guy shrugs: "Sometimes it works." Then the guy asks what's new, and Norm cannot help himself. He has just learned something fascinating. "I met my neighbor. He had a hell of an interesting job. He's a professor of logic down at the University of Science." The guy at the bus stop has never heard of logic either. So Norm, freshly trained, offers to demonstrate. "Let me ask you a question. Do you own a dog house?" "No I don't own a dog house." A pause. Then the guy at the bus stop delivers his own series of inferences: "Oh yeah you're one of them gays."

🚨 NORM MACDONALD ACCUSED THE CLINTONS OF MURDER ON THE VIEW — AND THE HOSTS FREAKED OUT Norm Macdonald went on The View over two decades ago and said the one thing you’re never supposed to say on daytime television. He casually suggested they needed to “get the homicide out of the White House” and get a fresh start because “we don’t want any more murderers.” When pressed, he doubled down that the Clintons “murdered a guy.” The hosts immediately froze. Barbara Walters shut him down hard, told him the accusations were too far, and warned that he would not be invited back if he didn’t stop. They forced the conversation onto football just to escape the moment. The full unedited exchange is circulating again and people can’t believe how direct he was... or how fast the panel tried to kill the topic. Was Norm just doing dark comedy… or did he say something live on air that was never supposed to leave the room?

Norm Eisen is no doubt working with his longtime friend Barry Pollack who is Maduro’s attorney. Norm uses proxies to do his dirty work (like he did with the state “fake electors” cases including Fani Willis). Trump pulled Norm’s security clearance. Someone needs to make sure that is the case and if so, that Norm is not receiving classified information. Norm does not care about Maduro. He cares about defeating Trump. That has been his life’s mission for 10 years which has led to most of the chaos and division in our country. Norm should have been indicted months ago.

Tim Cook on the final piece of advice Steve Jobs gave him before handing over Apple: Cook recalls being called to Jobs' house, where Jobs told him he wanted him to be the next CEO. Cook pushed back at first. "He called me over to his house. He told me he wanted me to be the CEO. And I debated with him a little bit. Are you sure you don't want to be CEO anymore?" But Jobs had made up his mind. And he gave Cook one piece of advice that would shape how he led Apple: "His advice to me was never ask what I would do. Just do the right thing." Jobs had a specific reason for saying this. Cook explains: "He told me the story behind this. He was very close to Disney as you know his history. He had watched Disney go through this paralysis of sitting around and talking about what Walt would do. And he did not want that for Apple." Jobs had thought deeply about the handover. He wanted something Apple had never experienced before: "He wanted a professional transition at CEO because Apple had never had one before. And he had thought about it, as you would guess, at a very deep level." Tim Cook closes with how he views the role he inherited: "I see it as a privilege. Overall, it is a privilege."

Julius Erving talking about playing with Charles Barkley: “I kept seeing his upside. He was hard-headed. He had something to say about everything. If he didn’t play as good as he can and well as he was capable of playing or whatever, then some of the things he did wouldn’t be tolerated. But they were tolerated because, you know, he was exceptional, man. He could rebound it, take it coast to coast, make play. And for his height to rebound the way that he did, it was incredible. It was kind of disruptive because we had won the championship the year before he got there. Then the year that he got there. We had to make room for him and he almost killed Marc Iavaroni cuz he was playing the four, Charles was like that’s my spot right there. This going back to violence in the game because the next man up. Me and you man. He get Iavaroni at his back. He back him all the way out to the top of the key” (Via All the Smoke)
