Politicians must remember they are not the story. We, the People are the story. I have nothing but respect for Premier Danielle Smith. There's a pretty big parade called "Separation" forming. She can & must get out front & lead us. Quebec leaders haven't been shy. It's time now.

This is a great move by Danielle Smith: facilitate citizen petition for the referendum so that she can positively assert not being behind the movement, knowing very well that it will be a citizen-driven movement, especially after they make it easier for citizen petitions to pass thresholds in the first place.
