I HAVE A SCHIZO THEORY! I noticed something in the combat footage. Right after Edward assassinates an enemy with the hidden blade, there's this really brief moment where his stance changes into the hidden blade combat stance, then it snaps straight back to normal. It's like half a second. Obviously, it's most likely because the game's still a work in progress, but it got me thinking… what if there's actually a hopium chance that hidden blade combat is being implemented? The stance he switches into does look like it's the hidden blade combat stance though and not unarmed stance. See the image.

Ashton Jeanty was reportedly told to “stop” his iconic pre-snap stance IMMEDIATELY by Chip Kelly (Raiders OC). “Staggered trap bar work is rapidly becoming a favorite derivative. By using a quasi-bilateral stance (staggered), we can emphasize glute far more, due to the lower starting torso position and thus a deeper hip angle. It makes the movement a little more challenging for the trunk also, and I prefer a rear heel elevated stance to further emphasize the lead leg. The benefit is more forceful unilateral work— the same reason I like hand-supported work. I usually program this in conjunction with the bilateral stance trap bar and staggered Zerchers and RDLs.”

That status does not currently exist at all — it would effectively have to be created from scratch for a new kind of relationship with Ottawa. Canada is not considering full EU membership for now, but the direction is clear: Europe and Canada want to get as close as possible without going all the way to formal membership. It looks like the EU could soon have its first participant from across the Atlantic.

An ode to the 7 Wood… I ignored the hype for a long time. My male ego just didn’t let me give the 7 wood a try. With my hybrid struggling, I finally took the plunge a couple months ago. I can say with no hyperbole: It’s the best club ever. This is a tough stance and have to get the ball up fast. 195 yards out. Basically zero chance for me with an iron or hybrid. Just put it in the middle of that stance and swing. Boom. Rough, bunkers, fairway…just doesn’t matter. Somehow it always seems to go in the right direction. If you have fought the urge to ditch the 4 iron or hybrid, it’s time you try it. You won’t ever go back. 7 wood for life
