For the first time in any Transformers film, the human lead gets his own suit which he can use to fight the Terrorcons in Transformers Rise of the Beasts. This is of course Noah's Exo-suit. This suit was a lot of fun to work out and design. We tried to maintain a lot of similarities between it and Mirage since that was where the suit was coming from, but of course the pieces couldn't be 1:1 from Mirage. We ended up designing a lot of the pieces from scratch and the pieces that we could take from Mirage were massively modified to work well for the far smaller scale and tighter proportions of Noah. Because I had developed a procedural setup for all of our hero characters texturing and look development, the textures and look development of the suit were directly taken from Mirage and updated by our artists to work well for the suit through manual painting and tweaks. It was crucial that the suit still read as Mirage's body parts and not entirely new random metal parts. We handed the asset to WetaFX for the last sequence and they did an excellent job of integrating it beautifully into the live action footage and bringing the suit to life on Noah.

Mirage was the new human-buddy lead in #Transformers ROTB. The studio wanted a character other than Bumblebee to have that role and be in the spotlight with Optimus Prime. He was designed to look "handsome" and to be sporty. He was the only character in the film with more than 1 alternate form. He had a total of 4 that we built in 3D (1 of which was cut from the film) and 1 that was only in live action (the garbage truck). I served as the asset Lead and did the Primary Texturing & Look Development for him. I also modelled and designed his eyes, upgrading them from what we had originally in the concept and ref. We spent a lot of time getting his car paint to look correct in shots, matching closely to on set reference pictures of the Porsche. At the end of the film, Mirage gives up his life and becomes the Exo-suit for Noah. The suit was built separately, using the same tooling and systems as Mirage to ensure visual continuity between them for the transformation from Mirage to Noah Exo-suit. He was voice acted by Pete Davidson, a change which was made later in production. The animators tried to introduce some of Pete's mannerisms into Mirage's animations too. Overall he was a character which was a lot of fun to work on and I'm proud of the work the team did to get him to look the way he does in the final film. CREDITS Primary Modelling by Lilian Robert. lando talking about how special it feels for him to win constructors’ titles after starting with the team in tougher times and their dominance 🥹❤️‍🩹 “i mean another one is just a great thing. it's another constructor feels the same as the first, because to get the first was quite an achievement if you still look at where we were just three years ago. we've overtaken every team in terms of development. we've outdone them by a long way in terms of development, and in a time when it's almost harder to do than ever, with more restrictions and less wind tunnel time, all of those different things, budget cap, that's really been more in our favor over the last five years comparing to the budget that the other teams could run at. but in a time when it should be more difficult than ever to dominate, that's exactly what the team have done and given us, by a long way, the best car on the grid. i mean, it's always a very nice thing to say. every driver that gets to say that always puts a smile on your face. but we've also done very well as a team in terms of drivers between oscar and myself pushing each other and delivering every single weekend. and you don't see that on any other team. so i think we're also very proud of that as drivers. but for me, i've been with mclaren since i started. especially it was a very different time and different place then to where we are now. so that journey makes it more special to know the downs because that's a lot of what it was back then to see the rise that we've had to see the teamwork, the changes, the atmosphere difference and the leadership from zak, from andrea especially, has turned things around and made us as a team the best in the world. and that's something that many people don't ever get to say”

Farewell to International Space Station! This is truly a special place, special mission, and special team that makes it happen. It is a bittersweet departure today – I have a keen awareness that I may never be back here, and even if I was, it would be at a different time with a different crew. This chapter is over. Spaceflight has always been a life goal, and it has turned into a life-fulfilling endeavor – but not for the reasons I thought growing up. When I was young, I pictured the launch, the incredible ball of fire and the acceleration, the spacewalks (how could you not wonder what it’s like to be in that suit?), and I was fascinated by the shuttles, capsules, and stations. But as I complete this second mission living and working in space, what draws me to this job is the people. Experiences like this are amazing, but the relationships we build that make it possible are the “why.” Every day, this mission depends on people from all over the world, of different nationalities, races, religions, and cultures. It depends on government and commercial entities, it depends on all political parties, and it depends on commitment to an unchanged goal over many years and decades. It depends on people dedicated to being part of something bigger than themselves, whose names may never be known but who wake up every day to make the world a better place and to be part of something they will be proud to tell their grandkids about. History will look kindly upon them. Humans have always had a propensity to explore … across lands and oceans, up mountains, and into the sky. We as a species will never stop wondering what else is out there, and what it would be like to go. But then, in the words of TS Elliot, “…at the end of all our exploring, will be to arrive where we started, and know the place for the first time.” Crew-10 is on its way home.

Can United States manufacture robots? Matic Robots says "yes." It makes the best floor cleaning robot, that has won many perfect scores from Wired to many others. We love ours. But my trip there to get a tour from AI pioneer Navneet Dalal Navneet Dalal provided some real insights into how hard it is for a hardware company to make hardware in the United States. And how deeply AI is changing consumer electronics products that are going to be in many more homes soon. In this first part (Part II coming tomorrow) we get a look at how long it took for this company to go through prototypes to a shipping product. In the second part, you'll see the scaling hell that it takes to even ship a few thousand robots and the kinds of problems that scaling up a factory brings. Matic is one of my favorite small Silicon Valley companies. It has found what we call "product market fit." I just came back from CES where I saw many of its competitors, and the Matic wins because of not just the product thinking of Mehul and Navneet Dalal but because of their AI leadership. In a way their robot took many lessons from Tesla, from where to put the batteries to its bet on computer vision, which Navneet has been a pioneer in for years, working quietly behind the scenes. It is about to move into a new location that will allow it to grow to meet the demand that now is showing up (the boxes in its lobby show that it's outgrowing its current facilities). In terms of AI, it has aspirations of making a humanoid too, but it is taking a far more measured approach to getting there. By starting on the floor it can not just build world models based on real world data (customers are given a choice whether to allow its data to be used that way. Most customers choose to keep their data on the robot only, for privacy reasons, but if you opt in you can help them improve their models). They are using that data to understand homes. Navneet told me they hit very unusual situations in people's homes already that they couldn't really predict in simulators, like full-wall mirrors that confuse computer vision systems, or pools and water features in people's homes. Having real customers brings a ton of customer feedback about how to further improve the robot, and, as Navneet demonstrates in the second video, forces them to build a manufacturing muscle memory. Getting teams to work together, figuring out how to solve supply chain problems, from Trump's tarriffs, to a new one that showed up over the past couple of weeks. A supplier for its bags (one of the cheaper parts that goes into the robot) changed the glue it used, which caused robots to fail quality tests and the manufacturing line to stop. Reminds me a lot of the hell Elon Musk faced in its Fremont factory when Tesla was first starting to manufacture its Model 3, which almost bankrupted the company. Off the record Mehul and Navneet 🇮🇳 showed me some of the prototypes and plans for its next products that will show up over the next few years. Certainly not as sexy as Tesla, Figure, 1x_tech, and all the Chinese manufacturers are showing off already, but far better thought out for the typical Western home and AI plays a huge role in its future. It is the product that speaks for itself. It's amazing, and is about to get better this year due to AI. It's the first real vision-only robot to be in my home and I bet it won't be the last from this company. Real honor that they invited me over with my Insta360 camera (another company launched in my home, just like Matic was last year). In Part II we go into the factory.

That’s movie-level weird. The girl is walking this robot dog on a leash at the AI for Good Summit in Geneva. Its a real personal humanoid robot. This can move from four legs to resembling a person. It can walk and climb, but it also seems able to follow you around and help you, like a drone. Since all the home robots are one body, many of them get stuck on stairs and slopes. The T1 avoids this by being able to fold from a standing figure into a low, four-legged shape. It can climb up and down 18 centimeter steps and 35 degree slopes both inside and outside in dog mode. In human mode, it quietly follows your movements, standing by your side like a friend. So now one machine can do both smooth and rough surfaces, and the odd space in between. The PrimeBOT calls it the T1 . You can add your own behaviors on top of it to make it a robot . Height 80 cm. It will fit in a back pack. Not for the laboratory or the factory, but for personal use.

There’s a new claim that “essentially, all that happened was Trump got tired, took control and forced it on Netanyahu, and this is basically the same deal that could have been reached a year earlier,” with the disturbing implication, that’s horrible to say, that IDF soldiers died in vain for a cause that had already been achieved. So, let’s revisit the plans that were laid out by both the current and former American administrations to see if they match up. For example, the Biden plan from June 1, 2024, which was met with considerable enthusiasm, and was even later acknowledged as Netanyahu’s plan. I want to highlight the difference. In the first phase, the IDF should have already pulled back to roughly its current position, and then it was just about releasing humanitarian hostages. As if not all of them are “humanitarian.” Then it transitioned to discussing the release of living hostages. In this phase, the IDF would withdraw from all of Gaza, until the last centimetre, while all the dead hostages remain in Gaza. It’s as different as day and night. Here, everyone is returning, including the dead, and the IDF is still in half of Gaza. This isn’t just about some desire to maintain an occupation or garrison force, but rather to ensure that Hamas disarms — something that didn’t happen in the Biden proposal. So now let’s move on to the Witkoff plan, much closer to us, much better for Israel, but still different. There was talk of releasing half of the dead hostages, but then a temporary ceasefire for two months of negotiations to end the war, and then the IDF would withdraw from more places than it is now, and there would be a guarantee that the war would not be renewed. Once again, we see that there was no connection between the IDF remaining on the ground and the promise that Hamas would disarm, especially while some of the hostages are still there. The greatness of this outline is this issue. I also want to say something general about the matter of responsibility. As ridiculous as it was on October 7 and afterwards to hear from Netanyahu’s supporters that the one who is to blame is the IDF chief of staff, the Shin Bet chief, the attorney general and the Military Advocate General, and that Netanyahu has no part in it — it’s as ridiculous as it is that now they’re saying, “Thank you Trump and thank you Nitzan Alon, and thank you to all of them and to the Qatari prime minister, and Netanyahu and Ron Dermer have nothing to do with it at all.” Indeed, Netanyahu had a very large part in the failure of October 7, and he also has a very large part together with Dermer in this deal. By the way, how does that connect to what Kushner said tonight in Egypt? He said that both the prime minister and Dermer made very big compromises and took risks to see the end of the war. I would like to make a suggestion. Once upon a time, when there was only one channel and people didn’t like the commentators, they said, “Watch the game without the commentary.” I say, let’s watch Trump and Netanyahu’s move without the commentary, because there are a lot of conversations, and this and that, and slander, and sometimes even quotes, but in practice there has never been a president and a prime minister who acted like this, and the results are evident from Iran, through the Golan Heights, through the embassy and now Gaza.

March 15 has become a symbol of Syrian will; it is the day Syrians chose to move from demanding reforms that no one listened to, to a comprehensive demand for complete democratic change for all pillars of the Assad regime, from the dictator to the last henchman. Despite the repression faced by the Hamidiyah demonstration in its first minutes and the arrest of several participants, the message had been delivered. Proud of this one!! Cllr Cllr Nicola Parker has been working tirelessly to try and get the issue of the old car in the Lagan resolved. So when the Community Search & Rescue offered to help out with removal, she jumped at the chance and co-ordinated with the Council to try and get this attempt organised. Today, the Community Search & Rescue team were able to do a partial removal and will be back to have another go. With the age of the car, overall removal was challenging, but Cllr Parker was able to provide some support in coordinating the Parks and Amenities team to help clean up afterwards. A massive thank you to the everyone for their time and willingness to help today, from Search & Rescue to Council, and to Cllr Parker hopefully this is the start of getting the Lagan cleaned up properly! 💛 Proud of our Team in Lagan Valley Alliance- we just get on with it and get the jobs done! #delivery

For three workshop-packed days, we navigated through intimate discussions, brainstorming sessions, and team-building activities focused on the future of Oasis. The cross-pollination of ideas from our diverse minds across Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, Community, Operations, and HR brought forth new solutions, initiatives, and ideas for Oasis, reinforcing our belief that community is the backbone of every great blockchain network. 🔥As a Black man who fights for the health of our people I can disagree with someone on topics and agree with them on others. My work in the “Health freedom” movement goes back more than 10 years. @robertfkennedyjr was brought to me back in 2015 by a mutual colleague due to the explosion of autism within the Black community and specifically with Black boys. We within the Black community have been gaslit and/or made to feel that we are insane to look at vaccines as a cause if not THEE cause of autism. Turns out our concerns were/are legitimate. The data brought to me in 2015 by RFK jr was regarding the MMR vaccine and Black boys. We also looked over the data (both from the CDC) regarding the hepatitis B vaccine and its connection to autism and Black boys. Scientist Dr. Brian Hooker (another colleague) was brought to me to the same meeting and went over all of this data as a PhD biologist/chemist. We have fought against SB277 in California, SB276 in CA, bills in New Jersey, New York and much much more. This was done on behalf of the rights of parents and the people against vaccine mandates and the guaranteed protections that come with vaccine exemptions (religious, philosophical and/or medical exemption forms). I have worked with parents and their children who are on the autism spectrum since prior to 2010. This nation is sick and it is up to US to change our own condition. On the governmental side THEY have to change things as well and due to my work over the years there are many individuals who I have worked with in this movement, from state-to-state, from California to Washington D.C and all the way up to the steps of the CDC itself! I know who has been there fighting for the rights of the people where health freedom and government accountability are concerned and of those who have been fighting on our behalf, Robert F. Kennedy Jr from my experience has been one of them. Me & RFK jr totally DISAGREE where the subject of Israel and Palestine are concerned. The third and final SANTIAGO event was the premier of the short film in San Antonio and it was INSANE!!!!!! To see this many people show up to watch a short film we made was so surreal. It was so cool to experience it in a theater for the first time with fans. Surreal moment. Ended up on top of our SUV afterwards and soaked it all up!! The attention to detail and intentionality for this whole rollout has been something I’m super proud of. Everything happened better than I could’ve imagined.
