Have you made some #3D models with #gaussiansplatting using Luma or polycam ? Here is how you can now clean them up directly on the web: People nowadays call them "Splats". These 3D models have the advantage of being extremely light compared to polygon-based 3D models. You can use various apps to generate these assets like the one I mentioned above. Often what you need is just a video or a set of images that you can shoot directly from your phone. To my knowledge, none of those apps right now offer the ability to edit and "clean" the model you get.... UNTIL NOW! You can go to from PlayCanvas import the splats you have downloaded and start cleaning it up directly on your #browser. After that the asset is ready to be exported as a PLY file Was this useful? ✨ I can now generate 3d assets for my drone sim at directly from Cursor (sponsor of #vibejam) I need buildings that you'd see in a war torn city, like warehouses in ruins, broken down abandoned houses, bombed out bridges etc. Nano Banana Pro or 2 can generate them really well and then you can put them in an image-to-3d model and you get a GLB or FBX That one you can then import into your Three.js game, the models might be big though, in my case like 16MB, so I ask it to compress it and make it more low poly so it loads fast ThreeJS then loads the individual GLBs on page load and puts them in my drone sim somewhere randomly, I think I should remove some of the grass and match the sandy color of the ruins though to make it fit in more

I made tons of money building websites for people and small companies. Most of that is now gone. You can now generate, customize, and deploy a website using natural language. I recorded myself building a site from scratch using 10Web.io. 4 minutes later, I had a full website generated just for me. Crazy! That's mostly how I paid rent when I graduated college: I'd either build you a new site or make changes to an existing one. It's nuts anyone can do that today by just asking.
