Apple’s depth mapping algorithms are bleeding edge given how quickly it’s done while entirely on-device.

It’s the best feature on the AVP now in my opinion. The stereoscopic 3D photos were cool, but with 6-DOF and parallax it’s breathtakimg. Making the photo large as you can and walking right up to it, you really feel a sense of presence. Absolutely magical.
