Kari Thorp was waiting at her doorstep for her daughter to come home from school on the bus earlier this month when she noticed smoke and flames coming from beneath the vehicle. "Fire! Fire!," Thorp quickly notified the bus driver before helping him safely evacuate all 22 children on board. Just 15 minutes later, the tires exploded and the entire bus was engulfed in flames. "Kids were crying. Kids were scared and freaking out," she said. "It was quite emotional and kind of frantic."
