Ok, I am a bad programmer. But AI can write better code than me faster than me. So what’s the problem here? I really struggle to understand this mentality when it comes to using AI for coding (which I’d argue it’s actually good at!)

A good quick summary of my approach to writing. If I can't write something I feel great about in 5-10 minutes, I just throw it away and start over. I don't try to massage the bad into the good, I erase the bad to make way for something better to emerge. For me, throwing it away is faster, and the outcome better, than trying to recover a piece of writing that isn't headed where I want it.

Gaon says AI can’t fully replace human jobs! 🙂‍↕️ 🐥 I'm curious about one thing. Can AI actually judge an employee's potential as well? So for example, I think emotions are actually a pretty important factor when it comes to working. Because synergy actually starts from small, individual issues, right? And actually, figuring out how to achieve good performance isn’t really something AI can fully judge. 🐥 So, even musically, it's similar. In my "past life" (they're company employees on this show) I actually did music before (plays his performance videos)... 🐥 One thing I’m sure of is that the synergy that comes from human relationships turns out much better than when working with AI. I've experienced that myself. 👤 No matter how precisely a machine lays down a drum beat, it’s different from a person playing it. 🐥 It’s completely different. Honestly, I think AI still lacks something when it comes to deciding who should be laid off. That’s why I’m personally against it.

💬: what’s the hardest to pronounce? 🐰: for me it’s ㄹ (R/L ➡️ in korean both R & L are using the same hangul) 🐰: for ㄹ my tongue is like… (shows it to 42). so when i speak in chinese, i use my tongue a lot for R, so it’s like a habit for me 🐰: so when i speak ㄹ in korean, i say it weakly (not as strong as in chinese). i’m trying, because it’s already a habit for me to say it strongly in chinese 🐰: i have issues every time i’m recording or conversing in korean because of this, but the members really helped me a lot so i think it’s much better than it used to. but i honestly think i’m still lacking a lot at it 🐰: ㄹ… like “oneul” (today), “mokeulgoeyo” (i’ll eat). i still find it hard to sing the song and read the lyrics if the words contain the ㄹ in it

I've been responding to hundreds of people who have been writing me "Merry Christmas" this morning. And a new little app that shipped one day ago has been helping me. Typeless Free app for iPhones. Way faster than I can type and I wrote eight books and type faster than anyone else I know. And now that we are in the AI age it's way faster to use your voice to work with AI agents than to type. Thought I'd do a little video. It's way faster to respond to everything now due to it. But the big message is Merry Christmas!

I'm teaching a new course! AI Python for Beginners is a series of four short courses that teach anyone to code, regardless of current technical skill. We are offering these courses free for a limited time. Generative AI is transforming coding. Jensen Huang said if he were a student today, he wouldn’t prioritize coding. He’d prioritize learning how to talk to AI. Most people treat AI like Google. Type a question, get an answer, move on. Huang sees it differently. He calls it “expertise in artistry,” which sounds dramatic but makes sense when you think about it. The real skill isn’t using AI. It’s knowing what to ask for and how to refine it. “Learning to interact with AI is not unlike being really good at asking questions.” If you’re a doctor, can you use AI to catch diagnoses you’d miss? If you’re a lawyer, can you sharpen arguments faster than your competition? The leverage comes from pairing what you know with how well you can direct the tool. Domain expertise multiplied by AI fluency equals amplification. Without the expertise, the AI is just noise. Without fluency, you’re leaving most of the capability on the table. The question isn’t whether AI will replace you. It’s whether someone who knows how to use it better will.
