Baltimore Ravens HC Jesse Minter - Building Fire Zone/Simulated Pressure Menus - "When I'm deciding Fire Zone, what are the main runs they're running. We really look at whose hands do we want the ball in (read game). - "Coverage wise, if they're a huge catch and throw RPO team in to dead space... Obviously tighter coverage. There we may run simulated where we can play 3 match/3 lock principles & have tighter coverage and still really run the same pressure. - "To me it's like Quick Game/RPO driven, if that's a huge thing they're doing off the run game, we want the tighter coverage (3 Lock Sim Pressure). If they're under center/wide zone, not running as many RPOs off of it, then I love running the same type of pressures but now 3 Deep/3 Under. Now you got 3 guys with vision to cap the runs & protect vs play action."

Mesh Concept | Universal Answer Any hash. Any defense. Call it anywhere. Formations, shifts, and motions change the picture. The QB progression never changes. Pre-Snap: Alert Okie (6-step speed out) Progression 1 - Rail 2 - Low Mesh 3 - OTB 4 - High Mesh Rules & Landmarks Rail – Aim heels of #1 → bottom numbers. Low Mesh – Align +4–5 from OT. Here's some examples of man coverage simply doing too much in CFB27 We have Southern Miss vs Ohio State Jeremiah Smith vs Poor Soul Why is he getting this smothered? Why is leverage & commit being ignored? ------------------------------------ YES you can run the ball on C2 Man YES there's better routes in the game than these But fundamentally, this is not good for the game imo

Patrick Surtain is the best CB in the NFL and AJ Brown beat him in the 1st half. But then the Broncos went to a lot more zone coverage and Brown was blanked (except for 1 more slant against man coverage). Players beat man and scheme beats zone. The Eagles have the players. They don't have the scheme. Again, I have no idea why any team would play any defensive snap that wasn't a 4-man rush with zone coverage behind until the Eagles figure out how to beat it.
