@allianceparty It'll only be 25 yrs once, so I'll shamelessly butt in here to advocate folk revisiting the early devolution times through my book (see the @AlexKane221b column). I actually think that for the first 3 years or so, we got close to what we had envisaged.

@allianceparty It's not just reform of the institutions that is needed. It is a proper funding model for the NI Executive. The sewage network in Northern Ireland has been pumping raw sewage in to lakes, loughs and rivers since the 70's, and it is only increasing.

@allianceparty Good old whinging @SorchaEastwood . Typical ceasefire baby hasn't got a clue and thinks shouting will get her what she wants. Should've stayed at home and minded the kids. It would mean less disruption for others who actually are capable of doing the job

There is no need to throw yourself into a war theater to deliver aid to Gaza that the Italian government and the competent authorities could have delivered within a few hours.” ➤ “I think there must also be a call for responsibility – particularly when we are talking about members of the Italian parliament. I remind everyone: members of parliament are paid to work in the institutions, not to force the institutions to work for them.” Alternative Proposals ➤ “If the issue is aid, aid can be delivered safely. We have offered all our availability for aid to be delivered safely.” ➤ “The Israeli government made a proposal – if the issue is aid – to deliver the aid to the port of Ashkelon.
