If I'm reading the documentation correctly, it looks like we just lost unique shapes in macOS app icons. Any irregular shape will autoscale into the new roundrect icon shape with a border around it. Many app icons will have to be remade. #WWDC25

Look no further than the Weather app on macOS to see how Apple has lost its way on quality. Highlight colors missing, dividers disappearing, labels jumping around, animations feeling jerky, clicks not registering. I suspect that the macOS version is just a quick port of the iOS app (which is still good), but a team that obsesses about quality doesn't ship stuff like this.

Hot Take: The New Camera app on iOS 26 is GREAT i initially hated it when i first saw it on the keynote, but now that i've used it, I'm loving it It’s familiar while being really simple I've always felt that the Camera app on iOS has gotten really complex and convoluted in these last few years, and the new one fixes that, while still being as nuanced as the old app if you configure it the way you want it to behave takes some time to get used to, but this is great, it really does simplify the whole Ul but, this could've been the perfect time for Apple to introduce Manual controls as an Option in the Native app, even after all this redesign, Apple is still stubborn on not adding Manual Controls it's 2025 Apple,if you're gonna let users shoot LOG Video from the Native App, let us have Manual Controls as an option in the Native App, instead of downloading third party apps👏 i wonder how people shoot LOG Videos without Manual Controls💀

I hate defending the tap out, cause I hate that he did it. But y’all be dragging it. Sequence of plays: 2nd & 13: AR throws a TD to Alec Pierce after escaping pressure. Flag OPI 2nd & 23: AR sacked for 0 yards after escaping pressure He should have stayed in to hand the ball off, but my God the guy with the made up GF dragging it. It wasn’t a critical game situation cause we were always handing the ball off on 3rd & 23 and kicking a FG.

When Ghostty detects a password input prompt, it now changes the cursor to a lock and on macOS enables the secure input API. When the secure input API is enabled, we show a neat, animated icon that explains what's going on when clicked. Another example of native UI wins (imo). Secure Input is the macOS system API that prevents accessibility APIs from reading your keystrokes, so things like screen recording software and so on can't read your passwords. Other terminals on macOS support secure input. I think only iTerm also supports secure input on password detection. So as a disclaimer, I'm not trying to claim this as a huge innovation, I just think our implementation is nice. 😊
