This bugs me more than it should. This is Ghostty, but it happens to other software. Characters on the corners are cropped by the border radius of the window. I like macOS in general, but wish Apple would roll back the rounded corners a tad.

mattn Thanks, I've implemented essentially this using our internal TUI framework. Just shipped a new release. `amp update` will get it. Let me know if this works for you. (I used the Pinyin IME I'm familiar with on macOS in Ghostty, but I hope the technique will work in general.)

The triangle🔺 is the most popular shape and I still see old and obsolete methods to create it. ⚠️STOP DOING THIS⚠️ 👉 A collection of CSS-only triangles made with a single-element and modern CSS. With the border-only and rounded corners variations.

Devin Sanchez is confident entering the 2026 season. “I feel great. I feel like I can be one of the best corners in the nation. I'm gonna be one of the best corners in the nation. I feel like guys should really watch out for me because I'm not freshman Devin no more.”

Ghostty on macOS now copies multiple formats into the clipboard. If you paste into rich text apps now, it'll preserve formatting! If you paste plain text, that'll work too. I think Ghostty may be the only macOS terminal other than the built-in to do this. Coming soon to GTK.

🔥 More details from the brand new I wanted it to make it more fun, so I added a ton of small details like this subtle tvOS-like animation to icons. #macOS #apple #BuildInPublic

One of the biggest surprises of the last few years to me is Bryce Young looking like this in the NFL. He never threw gimmies to hang corners in college. This isn’t just “oh he’s learning the game” stuff…he KNOWS not to do it, and he’s still doing it.

vibecoding UI animations with Claude using Three.js to paint the images onto a 2d plane that gets stretched by the corners and distorted with RGB offset/chromatic aberration devs of the past would have spent more time arguing that it cant be done than it took me to create it

Nothing I want more than Dillon to get back on track and just tear it up the rest of the season but it is a struggle right now.

Ghostty on macOS now also has native GUI for showing progress bars reported by OSC 9;4. This is, as far as I know, the first macOS terminal to support this (will be part of Ghostty 1.2, coming soon. Available now in tip releases). Esc sequence and script in quoted post.

This is what happens when industrial civilization continues to heat the globe at an unprecedented rate - it creates the conditions for the accelerated destruction of forest ecosystems. More than 80 #Wildfires in #Alberta - this is anything but normal - this is the new climate.

The Muse Charm launch is reminding me that I built this OpenClaw🦞 tamagotchi for Apple Watch back in February but never launched it.

Both sides love their "strategic bombing" but the reality is that the war is won or lost with shit like this (and one side can take a lot more of it than the other, to be clear)

I shouldn’t let it get to me but few things annoy me more than when someone does this on The Chase.

I know this move is most likely from one of the other DLC characters in the game but it’s going straight onto Naomi when it finally drops!! #WWE2K26

Since v14, FSD has this weird obsession with moving from the inner lane to the outer lane during a left turn. For me, it happens on every two-lane left turn. And it does it in a very jerky, dangerous way — even if it means cutting in front of another car, FSD will still insist on doing it. Is this because FSD is more afraid of hitting the curb at the corner than of getting rear-ended by someone else? This really feels like a serious bug to me. I’m not sure whether it’s because the model is overfitted to avoid curbs during turns, or because it was trained to always end up in the rightmost lane after a left turn. I honestly don’t know, but I really hope this gets fixed soon.

👇🏾This is what they call being clever by half. This was a skit that started off in defense of Nnamdi Kanu but after this point, they switched the character because they would have shot themselves in the foot. But the general social media audience is dull so I don’t expect them to pick it.
