Somehow I totally missed this at the time... probably something to do with my first daughter arriving the day before. And I don't think the hospital was live streaming the Falcon 1 launch, for some reason.

China is establishing multiple partially reusable launch systems on par with SpaceX's Falcon 9 system and will likely match, then quickly exceed US launches per year.
