Muhammad Ali was a great, great American and an icon for a generation of idealists who wanted better for themselves and others. He was also an awesome boxer, with tremendous speed, reach, and footwork.

@AntiWarParty1 the man. 🥊

Truly the greatest, and not just in the ring!

His words were so powerful. He shook the US to the core. Not many like him, a truly great and decent man. RIP Ali. ❤️❤️

@Kanthan2030 Adored him. He was a Visvamitra. Now, Shri Julian Assange is the Maharishi for our times.

Another reason to respect this man

Muhammed Ali is sorely missed!

How many would smear him as a Putin puppet, Assad apologist, anti-Semite, conspiracy theorist if he spoke out against the neocon wars today? So easy and self-congratulatory to virtue signal the past.

@d_pattada We used to think celebrities (like Ali) were exactly the ones who should exhibit courage like this. Now we expect our has-beens to be the 1st to roll over for whatever BS the government wants to impose, e.g. Gene Simmons in the US and Brian May in England.

@georgegalloway He spoke the truth
