Once you have built one 3D world, coding a new one with AI using Three.js becomes much easier. Feed the existing code to AI, ask for variation ideas, then generate a prompt and refine the result through iterations. AI is also now quite capable of working with TSL.

Great advice. I cross-pollenate analogous patterns back and forth from Maya based projects and three.js dev a lot, code and UX.

I did my portfolio in 3D, it consumed a lot of tokens but I think it was worth it and I love it:

Make sense. You refine your own engine through iteration and then just change the themes. Cool.

It makes me want to try something : some sort of adventure or rpg game with several dioramas connected together ( instead of one big world map )

Noice. 3d keeps getting better every iteration. I should revisit my last month generations.

I keep a whole archive, previous code helps in building new worlds/scenes etc. I do that regularly

People really do not seem to understand how valuable it is to use working reference material when building with AI

The acceleration is accelerating. Crazy how fast these new skills compound!

The "feed the existing code back in" part is the real unlock — the model doesn't need to know Three.js, it needs to know your Three.js. Half my agent wins come from that, and half my disasters come from forgetting to do it.

Feeding old code back in to speed up the next build is such a good habit.
