Nowhere To Run... What do you FEEL when you listen to it with your eyes closed? I'm glad it made into the game, eventually... as it was full of storytelling and much thought went into its production. When I was a kid, this scene messed with me. It was one of the first times I had ever seen a character purposefully murdered in a cartoon. Not to mention the way the ketchup was used in the scene just before.

FSD slams on the brakes for a cat in the road that doesn’t even exist. This is FSD 12.6.4 on HW3, which is a lot more sensitive to shadows & objects in the road with the 2026.8.6 update. There are many reports of brake stabbing. It brings me back to the days when I was testing with v10.3 of FSD back in 2021. It’s interesting that it’s the same FSD version as before, and not something like 12.6.4.1, but I guess Tesla can change the weights without changing the version. And they’ve likely been doing this for a while with 12.6.4. 😒

I either spend $10K plus on motion capture alone… Or I make the whole short film with Seedance 2.0 for less in just 4 days. Here’s the full 3 minute short film. A few things changed from the original version: I upscaled it entirely with Topaz Labs Astra 2, replaced the final chase sequence, and cleaned up some weird flickers that were bothering me. This is also the version I just submitted to a few festivals. I’m currently attempting to condense my full script into a 40-minute cohesive feature, but for now, this cut feels a lot closer to what I originally had in my head.

Being here on these steps feels spiritual to me. I’ve stared at the Salad Days cover since I learned of Minor Threat when I was 14. I think back to that first mixtape Jared Hein gave me in class sophomore year of highschool. Hearing Minor Threat on that tape for the first time opened a new door I didn’t even know existed. It pulled me into a world that felt raw, honest, and completely alive. The Salad Days cover. Those steps. It resonates with all of us who came up in this scene. It is more than an image. It is a feeling, a moment, a shared memory. This is my second time here. The first was over 20 years ago, and I can’t find that photo anywhere. So I had to take this one for myself. Just to reconnect. To bring myself back to the music and to that version of me that first felt it. Walking up to the Dischord Records house really does feel spiritual and like a time portal to when I was a teenager and all I cared about was going to shows and listening to records with my friends. Sitting on these steps, you can feel the history in a way that is hard to explain. One day I will meet Ian MacKaye. That would be a dream.

Was farming first encounter of ghosts to get the helmet I was missing (yeah I know it sucked) and I noticed that there are actually A LOT of details and stuff I just never bothered to notice in these play spaces. For example. Did you you know you can actually SEE Ahsa in this area before dropping down into the methane ocean for the first time? It honestly wants me to go back through all the dungeons in the game and take proper time to look through all the stuff in the world. Is that something you guys would be interested in?

I heard about Aubree Archibeck about 5 years ago when her dad randomly emailed me and sent me a video of her singing. I knew that someday we’d find something to collab on when the right song came along. And as I was working on this version of “How Great Thou Art” …Aubree immediately came to mind. I just knew. She was the perfect person to bring this song to the world. A combination of her heart, spirit, and her incredible voice.
