They are "celebrating’ the construction of 17 new homes—yes, just 17—at a time when new housing approvals are lower than they were 15 years ago, and when they continue to import hundreds of thousands of people into Australia, when the nation doesn’t have the capacity to build enough houses to accomodate them. To think, this is the caliber of people who have just been elected to Federal Parliament. They are absolutely clueless and would be lucky to know one end of a hammer from the other. Their incompetence is a very reason Australia has a housing & homelessness crisis. And their central planning will only make things worse. We don’t need the government building houses. What we need is for the government to cut migration, reduce red tape, and eliminate excessive taxes and regulations.
